Climbing the Rocky Mountains: Purdy Rock SXS

- We got 2+ feet of fresh powder snow! Decided that we would try for Purdy rock lookout, a trail that takes you 45 kilometres into the Alberta back country to a Mountain top in the Rocky Mountains. With the deep snow and steep hills our krx 1000 was struggling, luckily we had a couple of Polaris rzr turbos to pave the way and get us up to the top!

What an amazing day, definitely some challenging sections when the good old winch came in handy, nothing broke and everyone got back safe 10hr round trip, bring on the next adventure
Definitely a solid day out.
What an awesome ride with an amazing view from the top! I really enjoy trail riding in the winter it adds an extra challenge with some amazing views. Thanks for sharing with us.
You and me both! Winter just adds that extra special element
Great video, Griffin! That deep snow was intense, and the view incredible. Love that you guys got in some night wheeling on the way back.
Appreciate the kind words! We had a great day.
Wow insane day. Looks like the light faded pretty quick,
You know it buddy
Wicked vid!
Thank you!
New shocks did well considering I had a fat rock on my hand 😉
I'll say! Lucky we didnt loose them
great video buddy
Thank you!
It seems amazing that you can take wheeled vehicles up there at this time of year
You definitely need to work for it but its possible
My X3 leaked 1 time from the t-stat while sitting in the shed at -38f. Has never leaked since then. Cool video, very similar terrain as Montana riding.
Is it just the plastic housing then?
@countryslickerofficial at first I assumed the housing cracked. Now my theory is the plastic contracts and the crimp style single ear clamps aren't tight enough. Simply replacing the clamps while it's cold, or use a screw style but don't over tighten....
