Avalanche blocking the trail : Off-Road Ford Tremor F-150

This week we ran a new trail system in our f-150 ford tremor, leading up a mountain where we were blocked by an avalanche that had gone across the trail! Fortunately it still worked out for the best as we were able to run another off road area into the less than popular isagon canyon. Move the UTV forward, too light of a tongue wt!
17:04 - 60mph. It looks like the beginning of transition to Metric, just like what happened to my country 50 Years Ago!
I general quote hitch like that for 600 to 800. But I just cut the cheap bumper off and build new. as far as wiring goes you must be amazing because I general route that at 1.5 hours with everything sodered and srink tubed. On on the thing with pulling 2 trailer into to BC it is not allowed. I had an RC pull me over in Cochrane 3 years ago and told me that it wasn't even legal in Alberta. But I made him check and he found out that I was right but he made a point that I couldn't pull 2 into BC.
Definitely a no go in bc but alberta saskatchewan no problem. And I think if everything was soldered nicely you could definitely spend 1.5 hrs doing that but this is just a 30 foot cable with quick splices and self taper screws nothing special.
That ain't a truck, it is a car with a box on the back
Seems to be doing "real truck" things pretty well!
@sirmick8920 I hear ya.. My Tremor identifies itself as a Prius so it must be a Prius
Lets go buddy glad you guys helped him i saw the post but my truck has no winch and 33s 😓
Yeah unfortunately it's so slick in there a guy needs some big tires right now id say winch mandatory
Nice but pretty wild you think you won't be responsible if something were to go bad with someone else's weld job. Should of gotten an F250 but if you wanna play with fire by all means.
Def would have felt more comfortable in a bigger rig, just can't offroad near as well in those big trucks
Those 4.0s are literal beasts of an engine love it
They hold up thats for sure
Another great adventure!
Have the same exact truck minus the side vinyl stickers. Can't wait till I buy my trailer. I'm looking for a good off road trailer.
Right on which one you looking at?
@countryslickerofficial Would love an MDC trailer but out of my price range. Have an eye on Obi Dweller 15 or Rog 16rb but i'm open to anything that can go off road for dispersed camping.
@@Guntrain63 sounds like a pretty sweet setup! best of luck with the shop
Nice
Bozo leaves in garage for more echo sound🤡👎🏽
next time ill have to get some rollers outside
A car could do that If the ruts from overweight vehicles didn't go through
lol that is very true, but I didn't see any cars
Silly Kehds,… That’s a buggy! A bad ass KawaPowa buggy.
haha that is true def buggy is a better word for it
Did you order this direct from Borla? You’re in Canada no?
No not directly there was a store in Quebec I think it was called gdp performance or something similar
Wonder if the mud wiper had anything to do with this incident
I dont think so. The exterior hit was big.
The music 😢
Where is this?
Waiparous
Cool....used to liv in BC, now SW Saskatchewan.....I have had a 93 Zed Jay for about ten years...4.0 which runs like new.....replaced the tranny, grenaded and replaced the transfer case, rebuilt the rear end.....other than general maintenance over the years this beast just keeps running and running...over 430000 km on it.....and although in the process of putting on a bumper skin and some bits from my parts Jeep after a pronghorn lost a head butting contest at 110 kph....it is the old style full 4WD transfer case, not the AWD setup. I've grown to love this thing as much as I did my YJ.
I had way way too much fun in that zj for what it cost me. Definitely miss that truck at times.
Shits lit

You have just confirmed my opinions about the KRX as my lady and I are now older and not into holding my beer,...watch this brand of riding. I live in Northern Calif. with thousands of miles of logging, mining, and abandoned logging railroad beds and I would not go in a mud bog if you paid me
Glad i could give some insight. At the end of the day this isnt the machine to run at 90+ all day but if you need something that will cruise trails at 30 its definitely a contender
Nice to see those spring conditions. I've been thinking about heading to Waiporous with the quad but was holding off, but I'll go for it if the foothills are looking that dry!
There is definitely some dry trail if you can keep to the hills!
Hello, Are you interested in testing our products? We would like to invite you to test the Scratch-Resistant Windshield for your Polaris rzr xp 1000 (if your car year is 2014-2018
Sorry i run a krx
@@countryslickerofficial okay, thanks for letting me know
I was going to buy one back in 2020 for 18k , now they gone up so much, 34k trail package..😢
I paid even more for mine if you can believe it
I am a tour guide and use 5 of these machines, just started the fourth season on brutal rocky rugged terrain. Most of the vehicles are pushing 6000 miles, i can give you a laundry list of all the weak points.... 1) EVERY exhaust manifold has cracked and been welded 2) The door latch mechanism gets dirt in them and doors wont close. 3) Coolant fans are garbage we lost a motor over that. 4) Rear CV axel goes, good luck replacing them. Had to send it back to the dealership and they drilled and threaded the case like a clutch puller. 4) primary clutches were all done around 4000 miles 5) seat rails need to be lubed constantly or they freeze 6) every unit started consuming oil after 4000 miles 7) All the steering racks have failed and been replaced. 8) We replace all the tierods, bushings, brakes every season. These machines get washed at the end of every day before they are parked. Not a Kawasaki hater just a list of things to look for, all brands have a list im sure.
I've heard about several of these. Hopefully not all come true on mine are they all the same year for your rentals?
Great video, wanted to touch on the accessories you mentioned come on the KRX. Not all of them come with that stuff, I bought my 2023 new & it was bare bones. I added a roof, sliders, windshield from Kawasaki & added an aftermarket sound system.
Ah thats a good point you can buy them in base form. Which sound system did you go with?
@@countryslickerofficial I went with a Memphis Audio rocker switch bluetooth controller, small amp & kicker pod speakers mounted on the cage.
Always great to see your content bro. What model of drone do you use? Been thinking of getting one. Thanks for keeping the adventure inspiration alive.
Thanks buddy. Im still rocking the mavic air 2.
@@countryslickerofficial right on man thanks!! Hope you're back soon for more adventures and videos!!
Walk the rest?
Nah i was being a baby since it was raining
Thanks for review, thinking between the krx and x3, the krx I test drove is very loud on inside, the power of the x3 is unbelievable 😮
No argument there. Running an x3 i fell in love with the power
Yea😂, but power not everything, I want a good solid bike… the cab noise in the krx was rough though, we had the teryx4 years ago, loved the bike but the cab noise led to the sell of it, I’m thinking hard
is there still a bridge across the oldman river to get to thrift peak?
Nope no bridge unfortunately it dead ends at that river
I made it up over 1000m up into the mountains before hitting snow in the Shuswap!
That suprises me havent you guys had 20+ degree weather already?
@@countryslickerofficial it's that heavy compact you have. Only a week ago it was snowing up in the hills
So very few of us have Ford offroads. Personally I'm a YYC 2009 Expedition
Nice vehicle! Those have all the room inside too!
That was a cool shot of it parked up on the cliff like that. What engine? 3.5L EB or 2.7 EB. does the Tremor have a front locking diff? Really good video, thanks for sharing.
Ive got the 3.5 eb in this one. And very similar to a locking diff its a torsen diff (needs to be ordered as an option) but it works very similar to an lsd.
Its a torsen diff in the front. Very similar to an lsd. And its a 3.5eb in this one. Torquey motor!
I see your truck a lot in Calgary man! Love the content! Keep it up! Hopefully we can go wheeling once!
Hey right on! Hopefully we run into each other on the trails
Any cabin drone? Sounds great from the outside
Zero drone inside. In all honesty you cant hear it much until you stomp on it. That said it got louder about 1000 kms in its a very nice burble now.
bike lol
Nice lookingTremor! Like the color too. Great channel as I have not seen anyone really doing what you are doing- just subscribed. I have a 23 3.5L and love it. Had in in the mountains in New Mexico and plowed through the snow with ease. Even tried out the trail turn assist and it worked great. That Torsion is awesome too. This 3.5 is super quick. It is a lot of fun to drive especially in Sport mode. I to believe Ford has produced a winner vs. the GM/Chevy competitors. Congrats!
Right on my man thanks for support. Thusfar im.super happy with the ford. As long as reliability keeps up i think we have a winner.
I just installed the 2’ on my KRX. first trip in 2 weeks
Right on. Time for a night ride
Be careful not to twist the body too much, doors won’t close properly etc.
I purposely ordered without a sunroof for that reason lol
What do you mean by this?
Im at 2:45. Just aired down. Im guessing open diffs are going to do better in snow. Lockers better in every other condition im guessing again. Lets see.
Did it meet your expectations?
@@countryslickerofficial damn lockers. Thats all i can say. Im gonna get some spartans for my wj now. Sigh. 😵💫😂
Nice mate! Thanks for the info. Many years ago my Aussie buddies and I used to spend our evenings building buggies and racing each other on some amazing sand dunes in Lancelin, West Australia. I have always been an adrenaline junky, but have been committed towards the responsibilities as a bloke. I le that new tech can supply me with an instant MONSTER. But, I'll sacrifice some horsepower for dependability. I'm past the days of slamming beers and falling out of the buggy. Ignoring ever shifting dunes.... Your video helped me out. Cheers mate. I hope common sense prevails in your country and Trudeau is banished.
No worries my man and thanks for the good wishes, i hope your right
Planning to get 1 is it really good
I think you'll like it
It's NOT a BIKE...
Nice to see trucks on the trail! Bravery goes out to the trucks with no tow points! and i dont even think i saw one winch?
No sir no winches. I guess we were living dangerously this day!
Justin Inflation lmao 🤣
Love watching all your videos, Griffin. This one in particular is next level great!🫡
Appreciate the support! Thanks for watching
You really need to show all your work.
The Tremor trim is more of a desert runner isn't it? Nice wheeling bro
That's a goodquestion. Id say the raptor is more the desert trim. Tremor more towards checking fences or aggressive back roads
Hello. you make a very cool video and I enjoy watching it. you are a cool guy
Thanks for the support!
