Im taking 650mg ×2 capsules with every meal so, usually 3 -4 times a day. It depends how many meals i have. Also im trying to have at least 20 grams (of meat or dairy like yogurt/kefir) of protein in every meal, because that's what betaine usually work with. I take it almost for 1 month or 2 constantly! But you can take break's when you feel that you digest well your food .

Thanks for validating my issues. I was on PPIs on/off for many years and took tums almost everyday leading up to a UTI and when I took antibiotics for it, all hell broke loose. Back pain, anxiety, chronic headaches, bones and tendons sounded like rice crispies, head pressure, tingling and burning in my skin/muscles, chronic dehydration no matter how many electrolytes/water I would drink. Going on five years and have found some relief but not a ton. I’ve read your online course and watched almost every possible podcast on iTunes. I’ve been taking supplements for candida/bacterial infections for over a year and that helped slightly. Recently started taking Betaine HCL and beet flow along with once a week flush and coffee suppository. I’m hoping one day all this work will help and I can go back to being healthy.

This makes sense. I was diagnosed with sinusitis 25 years ago and they gave me Cipro for it. It didn't help. A little after, I started getting acid reflex occasionally until it got worse over the years. Now, I've been diagnosed with H Pylori. I'm trying to fix the H pylori. My liver enzyme ALT is also high at 32. it's like I one problem creates other problems. But now I'm confused as to what to try to eliminate first.

The stomach acidity is a big deal indeed. Two interesting reasons I say that:
    1. A friend of mine, a doctor, talks a lot about acidifying the stomach before eating. He says it actually lets you eat more food, including sugars, and loose weight. Both him and his wife are 40 but look 25-30 because of the way they have eaten for years carefully navigating the acidity. One of the foods he says really works is sauerkraut. But it needs to be prepared the old school way - proper fermentation. Pickled foods in the US are very far from proper fermentation.
    2. A few months ago after reading an article how fermented foods and garlic affect gluten sensitivity I started to eat loads of raw garlic and balsamic vinegar. At some point ended up using an 8 oz. bottle that cost $200 - imported from Modena, Italy. But Trader Joe's $5 bottle of balsamic vinegar from Modena worked just as good from what I saw. I was losing weight, had more energy, and somehow 2 skin tags I had for many yeas and a wart on my thumb that I had for 10+ years disappeared at the same time. Things like that donot happen just like that at the age of 55. So I associate it with the garlic/vinegar consumption.

The neti pot - I use it every night and gradually I realized that it is not about cleansing the nostrils only but you MUST address the back of the throat - the "bottom" of the nasal passages that drains at the back of your palate. Mucus, probably biofilm, collects and stays there. it causes snoring and it obstructs the breathing. As you sleep it slides up and down in that bottom area of the nasal passages and really messes up your sleep. It is a tiny amount but the bad effects are huge.
Right now I'm sitting here freely breathing through both nostrils - something I could not do most of my life. It is a result of using the neti pot and "expelling" the mucus from the bottom of the nasal passages through disgusting sounding but very effective spitting during the bathroom neti pot procedure.

@@thesteve9825 I wrote you a comment and then saw your other comments on the channel. I see someone already suggested carnivore.
Please check the channel I spoke about Kent carnivore. It's not as crazy as it sounds.
Kent carnivore's digestive issues were so bad for years that he had his colon removed, but thinks it wouldn't have been necessary if he had found carnivore earlier. Others following his channel are reporting their symptoms going away eating only meat and zero fibre.
I'll find the video where he talks about his colostomy bag and how he knows that meat digests more easily since he can see everything he eats in the bag!
I know it's the opposite of everything we've ever heard, but it might be worth a try. It's better you hear it from someone going through it. I'll go to find the video on his channel and post it here.
You need acid to digest meat and other food so antacids are not good. On the Dr Berg channel and this one they say antacids make the problem worse. Dr Berg says that acid reflux is usually low stomach acid that causes the valve to remain open and cause the acid reflux
