Hello, brother, I'm from Brazil. I love your channel with tips and tutorials about TV, HDR, games and reviews. Keep it up, and I wish you much success.
Creators intend all the way. I want to experience the art of movies. But everyone can do what they want with their tvs. A well-balanced, natural looking image is more important to me than an artificial one looking.
Contrast is the most important attribute of picture quality, a movie that doesn't even reach 600 nits is not even HDR, that's not creators intent, that's flat out wrong.
@plasmatvforgaming9648 have you ever seen Heat on 4k bluray. That movie was mastered by the director himself. It is very dark. How can you say this is not the creators intent? The movie was remastered under the supervision of the director, and that is his vision. HDR is more than brightness alone. But you can obviously change the picture according to your liking, but you will destroy the picture because it was mastered in a studio with special equipment that is much better than your Samsung TV.
30:05 this is what we need to see, changes in REAL TIME. You always say "here are the settings" whether it's for a game, a preset, a TV etc.. but you never show in REAL TIME you getting the settings. We want the whole entire process. Not just the end resulte. So we can learn with you. Showing us the settings then trying to explain them and how you got them will never work. Humans are visual learners. We need to see changes in REAL TIME and you figuring it out. The whole entire process you do off camera needs to be on camera. Show us you dialing settings in. Making mistakes. Using test patterns. Trial and error. Everything. You always say you want us to understand, humans cant understand by explaining stuff after the fact. Humans need visual. Humans need to see changes in real time. From start to finish. The entire process. No matter how long it takes. Or how many videos it takes. No shortcuts. So we can all learn and thanks 💝
Ariel mentioned in one of his videos that it took him over a day to figure out settings for one of the uploads. If you really want the entire process, be prepared to watch a 30-hour long video.
For gaming and movies I find that having it off is way too dark and dull. So for hdr movies and hdr gaming I set it to low on my 77 S95C. For SDR content (stuff that’s not in 4K HDR) then it’s completely off!
You still getting the 5090? I debated on it and man, rumours are saying it'll be more expensive than the 4090 and that was already very expensive. Nvidia is out of control these days.
@plasmatvforgaming9648 indeed, my problem with lg i can not find 1 settings good for both day and night, the display itself is breath-taking at night but so annoying at daytime
To max out the brightness on SDR you can go to the Service menu and turn on Module HDR. For HDR make sure it is back to normal or it would make HDR dimmer
Hi man, i have followed step by step all your tutotials , do you think contrast enchancer is good? for me i think i lost a lot of detail when an image is bright, for example in the sky, do you also recommend to activate this function in game mode ?
When the HDR Maxcll is close to 1000 Contrast Enhancer looks washed-out and overly bright. This settings are for trash HDR content. Which is what I see on Netflix
hi plasma , can game motion plus work at 72 fps and then it doubles it to 144 , the reason is that i cant stand 24 fps judder in movies so i thought that if you 3x with lsfg to 72fps and then use game motion plus it will be like 144 fps , i dont have a samsung tv to try it . your content rocks 💪
The S90D has better calibration but the S90C has more chance to have the 2000 nits panel, especially the 77". The 2000 nits panel has 300 full screen vs 200 on the 1500 nits panel

Thanks brother
I need that INHALE mastered in ATMOS surround sound😃
😂
I would love to see your SDR version of this setting for S95C!
Will do
Accuracy matters creative intend matters period .. it all has its purpose ❤ merry christmas everyone 🎉
Merry Christmas 🎅
100% agree with you.
Greetings from Croatia! I wish you and your family all the best for the holidays!!

Q... what movies or content did you use to feel good with these settings.... i think you should try the batman by matt reeves for the dark scenes
I'll try that one. Check out the final settings

Thanks for the video. Enjoy the holidays if you celebrate them.
Will do!

Okay. I'll be a very long video

Contrast enhancer just destroys colors. Not sure how you are actually recommending it to be on. Or I'm not sure what I'm missing
Most of the HDR I've seen so far on Netflix is very dim and these settings are to fix that
For good HDR I wouldn't recommend it
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 I feel like that wasn't made clear in the video. Maybe I missed it.
You're right. I'll make it clear next time

2000 is max for me
Hi bro, I have a question. Do you recommend using the expression enhancer option in HDR mode (game) in brightness? LG OLED, thanks
I've never tested that. It might be awesome
hi.... if i put st2084 in eotf of 1113111 menu of lgtv will this affect tv life span or performance in a long term?
No, but it looks terrible if you force that over SDR
@plasmatvforgaming9648 indeed, my problem with lg i can not find 1 settings good for both day and night, the display itself is breath-taking at night but so annoying at daytime
To max out the brightness on SDR you can go to the Service menu and turn on Module HDR. For HDR make sure it is back to normal or it would make HDR dimmer
@plasmatvforgaming9648 will this solve the incompatibility with st2084?
getting into service menu will reset the tv as you know
Getting into the service menu doesn't reset the TV. Just go under OLED and turn ON Module HDR

For Gaming I would never use anything other than Static Game HDR basic
@plasmatvforgaming9648 great, thanks again for all your videos
Thanks for replying to my comments bro…. For some reason, I can’t reply back.
Just make new comments
do you know how can i check how many times my tv did a pixel refresh thing ?
I don't know, I'll search it
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 i think i found it. in service menu qd option. off sense is 4h one el sense is the long one i assume.

Unfortunately not. Anything bigger than 60Hz locks it out
Which would you recommend: S90C or S90D?

What if you have a s90c with the next gen panel?
Try these

Earth. Definitely NOT a spinning ball.
I disagree with creators intend since years
