Definitely click bate....although a few of these plinkers are decent and affordable for the backyard hobbyist, I feel that this vid is highly biased. Even if a person kept in a price range of 50$-225$ USD or 70$-300$ CND there are a huge array of plinkers out there with higher fps and outstanding accuracy. The luger replica is a blaster from star wars rogue one used by the main character jyn erso. Its a typical star wars thing to have guns look like older firearms with a scifi touch.
If you came to the comment section to find out what the gun was on the thumbnail, it is the A180 from Starwars. It is basically a luger body with a barrel shroud. If you want to build one look up an Umarex P08 and AW Custom A180 Conversion Kit for AW Custom P08 6" Luger. You’ll have to drill and tap some holes, but you can make one with the items above.
The Crosman Classic pump is one awesome pistol. One of the best all rounders indeed. Accurate, powerful, fairly compact and its a self contained powered pump-up pistol. Brilliant for close up, small pests or small game.
everyone's hyping up air guns for survival but in a real survival situation pump action and break barrel will be all thats going to work... unless you have a pcp hand pump and air gun thats compatible with it the moment the air runs out your screwed
The Browning Mark IV pump spring one shot pellet pistol is awesome. You can use bbs by using a paper tissue to hold the bb. It's one of the best. Not as powerful as the CO2 guns but much more inexpensive to operate and maintain.
I guess you never fired the Evanix Vyper .25cal. It would make you throw every gun on this list straight in the trash. Also, my personal piece is the Ataman AP16 in .22cal. Small game hates it! With a DonnyFL Tanto applied, it's whisper quiet. More affordable is the Hatsan Jet I or II. I have the Jet II, which features dual airtubes and comes with a detachable stock, turning it into a sweet lil carbine. These three airguns are all PCP and are much more powerful and reliable than the best CO2 pistol, which for my money is the Diana Chaser! As far as replicas go, the Walther PPQ M2 would be my choice and never BBs, only pellets.

I will never buy bb guns CO2, I use mostly my Diana from the 80's that is 30 joules and shoot extremely powerful but I like crosman 1322 (22cal instead of 177) the Gamo arrow 20 joules 177 with 9 shot mags, the Artemis cp1 Cp2, especially the cp1, idk bout u but I'm french without gun permit so I can only get 177 22 cal 20 joules max but I cheated for my Diana 😂😂
I love my Crossman 22 Cal identical to the 1377 shown. Its the 1322 Medalist. Awesome Pellet Pistol. I don't need 6, 8 or 16 shots to hit my Target. Every time I shoot it I seem to hit something... Yep, Never miss. My Air is Free. No clips no Co2 just Shooting. Great Video. Some nice Pistols.
I’m 41 and I just bought the 1377 as my first air gun ever. I bought it based on the history and all the generations that speak wonders about it. It should be here 1 week from now, can’t wait to try it.
BUZZZZZ! The only good pistol was the Crosman Classic and they make a rifle version. You need a minimum a 500 ft per second in a 22 caliber air gun and then you need 700 in a .177 caliber air gun to hunt small game. Generally speaking if I buy two rifles beneath caliber the 177 caliber should be at least 150 ft per second faster than the 22 for it to have the equivalent power. From personal experience I have used a Benjamin pump rifle to eliminate rats and it is naturally more effective when it is fully pumped and reaches 800 to 900 feet per second. If you're good you can get by with less power but to keep it simple and to be as Humane as possible you can walk into any damn store and pick up an air rifle that shoots at least 900 feet per second or more and you can hunt effectively with it.
Great video. I like the Colts. I have the Beretta px4 storm, pellets and bb. I know of people who were fooling around and the pellet penetrated one of their necks and exited out the other side. So at close range, it can be deadly and dangerous.
I bought some Umarex replicas, and they suffered 3 problems: 1) BB would roll out the barrel, 2) would shoot one or two BBs, which was dependably undependable, 3) lack of power!
There not air guns there all co2 and all underpowered and only meant for shooting tin cans in the garden...pcp air pistols is where it's at, check out the evanix viper or huben GX1 or the hatsan sortie, there seriousish pistols you can hunt with and use for self defence. :)
Interesting you used an image of the Gamo PT85 from Leicestershire Airguns, they are my local Air Gun shop, and I bought my PT85 'Tactical' from them. The 'Tactical' version has a dummy moderator which hides the extended barrel, giving a few more FPS and a little extra power at no extra CO2 cost. Oh, shout out to the lovely people at Leicestershire Airguns btw!
My Umarex 911 was the best air pistol I ever had, and at $225 on sale, it was a bargain. The pistol wasn’t a blowback gun, but it had a rifled barrel and could put 50 shots in a dime at 21 feet. It only fired .177 pellets using an 8-shot wheel. The trigger pull required the strength of a gorilla and would only shoot double action. Still, the pistol was an excellent preparer for IPSC. I wore two guns out, but when I tried to buy a third (back in the Covid time), the company stopped selling them. I tried the H&K, but it was misaligned, had fixed sights. and wasn’t accurate. Since no replacement was available, I gave up shooting at home (which was good since the pistol shot through the metal bullet trap and made a fist-sized hole in my wall), but it left me with thousands of pellets and many cases of unspent CO2. I’d do anything to find a replacement.
Nice! Sounds like it was a good one. What I have as my plinker is a 2300t from crossman. It is my favorite plinker when it comes to target shooting with an airgun. If you are looking for a good airpistol with a rotary clip, look at the cp 88 Walther, made by umarex. I had the chance to try one and the trigger is quite crisp.

My typical regimen is 50-100 shots a day, and none of my airguns lasted more than a year at that rate, even the Umarex. Second, the price of the pistols that look good as replacements go for $600 or so. Shooting at my indoor range is supposed to be practice, e.g., way cheaper. And that doesn’t even count for repairing the drywall and Bose speakers for the wild shots. @justinfisher9639

The Umarex Beretta 92 should be on this list. Identical to the real deal AND you can shoot it in either semi automatic or FULLY automatic. Yes, you only get about 3 mags per co2 cartridge when shooting that way, but it sure is fun. Along with the blowback and fully auto features, get an extra magazine, and perhaps another pistol without a blowback function for an afternoon of really fun plinking at a fraction of the cost of a real firearm. You can also use the 92 for practice for the real thing as it's weight and magazine construction and function are the same as the 9mm.
I got the sig-sauer 226 and it's a great gun, the CO2 holder is very well thought out and easy to use, the acracy is good, and the gun feels like the real deal in your hand and at first glance it looks real (I got a black one) the blowback action adds to the realism, all in all a very good pistol for plinking, it fires about 60 shots on one CO2 canister, I don't know what the drop off is like but it seems OK for the first 45 pellets, I can get a 12gm CO2 for 30p in bulk, that's so cheap you don't have to think about it, 150 shots for less than £1, a full tin for inder £2,
This list missed the Bear River Schofield Revolver, in most air gun enthusiasts books - its as good as the Umarex Colt Peacemaker and shoots just as well. Its realistic (I've put my Schofiled co2 next to my old antique S&W No3 in 44 rim fire and my Buddies could not tell them apart until either looking down the bore or cocking/breaking them open. In fact I think the co2 Schofield is on a par with the Umarex Colt Peacemaker all round.

Air rifles reach back to the Napoleon era. In fact the British had a small regiment outfitted with air rifles. Napoleon was terrified of them and called them all cowards, he felt they were too quiet and efficient and saw them as a cowards weapon. They never gained much traction because it was a pain back in those days to refill them.
Try filling an air rifle with a hand pump! You either be very healthy, or take a brake halfway through. I lstop at the 3rd clip with my Diana Stormrider because of a) falloff and b) much less pumping. If I'm tired, I just shoot my breakbarrels.

6:45 most realistic peacemaker is the german brand "ME Sportwaffen" SAA (single action army) aircardridge revolver in .177/.22. This gun is produced/manufactured by Weihrauch/germany. If you would like to shoot this revolver with "hot gas", you can make some reload shells for example for 209 primer. I think there is no more realistic "Colt" shooting possibly. I had a pump style colt commander about 25 years ago. Maybe not the same but it was a 1911 replica, completely metal, felt and looked completely real. It was very accurate too.... to about 20 feet.... 30 if you're lucky. I had a movie moment with that gun too. I was biking, with no hands, down a one lane road on the edge of the road opposite to the houses. I saw the naked light bulb brightly hanging on the side of the house up ahead. I yelled out to my buddy.... "watch this"! And I pulled the gun out of my inner breast pocket of my leather jacket. It was cocked and loaded, safety on. As I lined up the shot, I slid my thumb down to unlock it. At the same time as my arm leveling out, the light bulb was lined up, 90°, perfectly to my side and I pulled.... It popped, my friend almost fell off his bike trying to get away before getting seen and I drove about 200' the exact way I was at the moment of the shot, frozen in shock, mentally. I still can't believe it! Maybe cause the matrix had just come out! 🤣🤣🤣
P-17 ! ! ! Best "AIR" pistol for the money.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! C02 , my NightHawk starts about 400 fps and nine eight shot clips later is still shooting over 300 fps but the inch or so trigger pull makes it hard to stay on target. And any 1322 would get you all you need in an air pistol. $0.02
air pistols don't have the power to be a defensive tool, no matter how high the co2 pressure modification you made, you have to go pcp rifles at the very least.
What this video also fails to provide is important information about the guns presented, information about FPS and the force the air canisters (or charging) offers. The damage they are capable of doing. This is important info especially if one is considering for self defense. After all the name of the channel is 'All About Survival '
Bro... For real you want very damn good airgun for cheap? Best model for pistol/short rifle: artemis cp1 cp2 (lot of mods can be used!) Same for the crosman 1322 1377 but cp1 and 2 has a magazine and use co2 u like the crosman that use pump both got ,6.5 to 7 joules. Rifle the gamo arrow is badass looking and has a 9 shot mag 20 joules, i own a diana from the 80's its 30 joules extremely powerful and lethal.
I am issued a Glock 19 Gen 5 for my job. long hours , overnights , and not always time for the range. I have the Umarex Glock 19 Gen 3. really good gun ( I now have 2). I can shoot in my house or backyard, garage, you get the point. try that with the real Glock. and I just need to wear glasses and I am good. and with the current ammo prices , well CO2s and BBs are much cheaper and get mailed right to my door. can't beat it.
About 10 years back i treated myself to a 911Jehrico gas powered pistol and got the shock of my life , standing around 15 feat from my back gate i emptied the clip oof stainless steel BBs and every one embeded into the wood over 3 quarters into the gate wicc was sscary really as i imagined if it was somfeones faceit would be a lot of damage done to the person and in my mind its the most pwerffull bb gun i have come accross. where was it made? ISREAL. . I recentlģ tried to get hold of another one but dissapointingly they no sell them. in the uk that is.

The first 35-40 shots averaged 420 fps. One CO2 cylinder would reliably produce 50 shots. @@TyroneBiggums-b5n

I had a pump style colt commander about 25 years ago. Maybe not the same but it was a 1911 replica, completely metal, felt and looked completely real. It was very accurate too.... to about 20 feet.... 30 if you're lucky. I had a movie moment with that gun too. I was biking, with no hands, down a one lane road on the edge of the road opposite to the houses. I saw the naked light bulb brightly hanging on the side of the house up ahead. I yelled out to my buddy.... "watch this"! And I pulled the gun out of my inner breast pocket of my leather jacket. It was cocked and loaded, safety on. As I lined up the shot, I slid my thumb down to unlock it. At the same time as my arm leveling out, the light bulb was lined up, 90°, perfectly to my side and I pulled....
It popped, my friend almost fell off his bike trying to get away before getting seen and I drove about 200' the exact way I was at the moment of the shot, frozen in shock, mentally. I still can't believe it! Maybe cause the matrix had just come out! 🤣🤣🤣

C02 , my NightHawk starts about 400 fps and nine eight shot clips later is still shooting over 300 fps but the inch or so trigger pull makes it hard to stay on target.
And any 1322 would get you all you need in an air pistol.

Same for the crosman 1322 1377 but cp1 and 2 has a magazine and use co2 u like the crosman that use pump both got ,6.5 to 7 joules. Rifle the gamo arrow is badass looking and has a 9 shot mag 20 joules, i own a diana from the 80's its 30 joules extremely powerful and lethal.

I am issued a Glock 19 Gen 5 for my job. long hours , overnights , and not always time for the range. I have the Umarex Glock 19 Gen 3. really good gun ( I now have 2). I can shoot in my house or backyard, garage, you get the point. try that with the real Glock. and I just need to wear glasses and I am good. and with the current ammo prices , well CO2s and BBs are much cheaper and get mailed right to my door. can't beat it.
