The thing I love the most about this podcast is the surprises I get when I listen to interviews with people that I have never heard of. Never heard of Light before, but what a lovely guy. Seems really genuine and intelligent. Went out and bought Bliss More after this interview and am really enjoying it. How one thing leads to the next.....love your work @richroll @lightwatkins.

As someone new to meditation, this is so incredibly fascinating. I wish it never ended.

Loved this episode. The first time Light was on this podcast was my introduction to the Rich Roll podcast. I've been hooked ever since, so it was really nice to hear another conversation with these two! I'm I'm proud to say that since my first listen two years ago, I have managed to create a morning routine to meditate. Keep trying different times and places until you can create a habit that works. Both of these men are extraordinary and the conversation between them is inspirational and encouraging! Thanks Rich and Light!

I would say meditation is right thinking and right actions in all circumstances, life is not about finding yourself , life is about reinventing your self,no more archeological digs. 🔐🔑💚🤝🧘🏼‍♂️🙏🏻

Light seems like a very peaceful, practical and intelligent individual I really appreciate this talk. I was happy to hear him say sit like you are watching tv. I am not very flexible and crossing legs is very uncomfortable

I really enjoyed this podcast! Especially at 1hr:25min when Light talks about his process of quitting drinking. I can relate to what he says about how sobriety changed the entire social dynamic of his life because he felt like he needed to find a new social environment in which to live. My journey to sobriety has driven me to find a completely new social circle, leave behind some childhood friends (or at least distance myself from them) and redefine my understanding of what it means to "have fun" with friends.

    Nice conversation.
Meditation is the foundation. Yoga became trendy and "showy". True meditation and yoga is bland and a spiritual tool not an Instagram photo.
So many gems of wisdom in this interview

Yes I recently did a meditation challenge led by Light that I found through Wanderlust. I really enjoyed it and your conversation. Light is his name personified.

What a great podcast! Started watching rich roll videos because of dan Harris but this is such a great talk about meditation. I do daily meditation and everything said here is totally true!

Lol. I actually did laugh out loud when he was talking about how his brother started meditating after reading a Newsweek article, even though he had been immersed in it for decades. Oh, family.... :-)

It is nuts when you realize that you learn so much from others what your family has been telling you for a while or ever. Sometimes I feel we do just need a fresh voice to tell us the most basic things.

Lol the part about smelling cigarettes is very interesting. I myself would smell certain greasy foods at depleted sessions of mediations or a heightened sense of smell for the food around me that contained that similar smell of foods. Level one: Sit for 15 minutes complete... level two: 30 minutes in, can you smell the pizza? level 3: I ordered pizza

What will our humanity look like when we stay in direct communion, riding the eternal waves of bliss, connected to the divine, and expressing that in com(e)passion, seen within and through the eyes and hearts of one another, ending all separation stories and stepping within and into our authentic creation story-our epic love story?! YUMMMM....

Loved this Rich. What an inspirational guy. Turns out, I'm going to be in London the day after the Shine event (I live 250 miles away in West Wales so rarely in London) staying in High Wycombe the night before (about half an hour by train). What are the chances of that. Hopefully my boyfriend will be as inspired as I was and we can take Thursday off and get to that neck of the woods a few hours earlier than planned to attend the event :D

Severe trauma and microwaves fastest sure fire way to open the 3rd eye and have crazy deep meditation effortlessly no breathing exercises in any position surrounded by noise and chaos. Just become blacklisted and tortured and enjoy the ride.
