Thank fucking god for this video, took me ages to find it, because everyone is connecting that shitty wheel adapter thingy so I thought I needed a special harness just to get my radio to work cause the steering wheel paddle is fucking useless, but now I see its just to plug in the harness that came with the radio.
How do you then install a new aftermarket stereo if this has already been done? I.e How do you now remove what you have just done? Looks like it's now locked in with no way to remove? I need to replace a double din unit with a touchscreen.
Would it be possible to install a 2 din radio? cut off the thing in the middle? That car already has a lot of pockets so that one under the radio is not necessary for me.
The harness comes with most aftermarket radios. To buy one for your brand of radio if it's missing would mean checking with the makers web site to see if its possible to order one.
The adapter cable can be bought from lots of places such as Amazon,Ebay or car shops. The Sony cable that plugs directly in to the back of the radio is only available from Sony via the web site or if your lucky a large car retail outlet.
@@PJsprojects All iso Harness Adaptor that I've found doesnt match the head unit conection, should I just cut down the head unit conection and weld it to the one that came with the head unit? Thanks for your kind reply.

Any brand that has a standard female iso plug in the end. In other words every major brand name.
