I was one of the very first who got my hands on their budget minarelli engine and got in touch with them and voiced my opinion on what needed to change. To my surprise, they listened and made quite a few improvements before their second shipment. I'm really impressed with their professionalism and willingness to listen to input from others. BikeBerry wouldn't give a crap. Lol
I bought a basic BikeBerry kit for my fist build a couple of years ago. I was attracted to the "entire kit" aspect. I then went on to build a 4 stroke Honda GX140 powered motorized bicycle, a couple of mini bikes, another 4 or 5 scooters and mopeds, etc. For what I was doing at the time, I was happy with my experience.
I bought from BB because I thought they would provide better support than other dealers. They are difficult to deal with returns. I received a bad chain tensioner they reluctantly replaced. I have a couple thousand miles on the 80cc angle fire. Maybe I'm lucky. They're prices are a bit high on many parts. The poo poo pipe is appropriately named.
I'm not at all worried about offending anyone when I say Bikeberry sucks ass, and preys on inexperienced builders and racerbois. NOTHING they sell works as advertised, and if you have problems, they will LIE and stall and generally treat you like shit until you go away. I tried to order from them 3 times when I first got started building engines.....first order was for an engine. It blew up in instantly due to piston being installed backwards and snagged a ring. They refused to replace, claiming I must have done it myself. Second time I ordered some smalls like a clutch shaft and a few odds & ends. They sent a totally unrelated random pile of hardware, with literally NOTHING I had ordered. Again refused to honor the sale despite me sending them pictures of the box taken as I opened it. Third and LAST time, I tried to order a billet head for a GT5 SkyHawk. They sent me a clutch cover and ONCE AGAIN, refused to honor the sale despite repeated emails and documentation. And as a cherry on top, the clutch cover was so warped it cracked when I tried to use it. Fuck Bikeberry.

I would say those few products redeem themselves (CDH67 jog pipe, CDH40mm kit, hub adapters, g2 Reed, cnc engine mounts, the HUGE square cnc heads, and their 3.4l frame. Sure, not EVERYTHING they sell are fantastic, but at least the stuff that IS GOOD doesn't cost... BikeBerry prices.

I don't know where BikeBerry originates, or who runs the website, but yes, they sell Chinese parts. I don't want to say all, but the MAJORITY of motorized bike engines and other parts (including performance parts, etc) come from China. But that doesn't mean they are all bad. Companies like California motorbikes and CDH Power still sell Chinese parts, but they have a high quality standard. BikeBerry on the other hand just throws quality out the window. Sites like California Motorbikes and CDH Power offer good quality products for reasonable pricing. However, like with anything, make sure you know what to look for before you jump right in. Other sites, such as Smolik Performance and RDManu offer SUPER high quality parts that have been EXPERTLY designed and crafted here in the states. You will need to pay a premium, but MAN is it worth it and the guys are super kind, so if you have any issue, they'll make it right.
I do appreciate that, at 1 time I really looked at making a bicycle w/ a motor but I didn't like any of the stuff I saw & that's w/o knowing if they honored the parts they sell. I'd rather pay more for better quality & receive the service we deserve instead of a fly by night group who run the second they get your money. peace

I will never purchase another item from bikeberry. I've had two of their mag rim sets fail and almost kill me. It's been over 3 months since I've returned my second set and I still have no input on what is going on. Their quality control and customer service is complete and utter trash. I'm sure they'll be hearing from my lawyer shortly.

Yes. Probably the best frame out there. Just make sure it's the 3.4l frame and not any of the other ones. I would buy from CDH (either through CDHpower.com or on Amazon) or Gomax. Either way, the 3.4l felt faker frame is the way to go.

You could probably use this bike (a.co/d/fQSkPL9), slap on a big ol Menace 85 engine kit (smolikperformance.com/collections/frontpage/products/menace85-ss-kit?variant=46264295456955), and use Gemini pitbike rotor rear wheel (gemini-bicycle-products.myshopify.com/products/26-right-side-pitbike-rotor-rear-wheel). If you actually plan on somewhat still using it as a BMX bike, you'll want a light, yet very torquie and powerful engine and there really isn't ANY engine on the market that can compete with the Menace. The bike and frame itself should hold up to the power just fine. Though, I reccomended replacing the wheel to a Gemini pitbike brake wheel so you can properly mount the sprocket while still having brakes. With the Gemini wheel, you get a VERY solid sprocket mount, but it relocates the disc brakes to the other side of the wheel. In total, the build will run you about $1,500. ($350 bike + $450 engine kit + $350 wheel + other odds and ends). You could get the price down a bit, but that's the price for a sick, purpose built bike
