The best thing about this song is how crazy it sounds. I love an artist that's brave enough to make a song like this.

For all of you saying that this version sucks, I would like to say that the point of this song is to emulate addiction. and I believe it hits that on the nail. I will not say Black Flag's version sucks just because I personally like APC's, its just that they have different styles to them. you can "prefer a version," but it is ignorant of you to say that the version you think is better is superior because it sounds better. I believe that they are both amazing songs in their own way.

@natetureboy1618 I completely agree, this song along with every other song under APC's belt. Its just so...emotional and....i don't know how to elaborate on it which is unusual because i always have a way of posing a phrase.
I haven't heard any of tool's songs and i hope that when i start to listen to them they will be as good as APC' s songs.
I have listened to both versions of the song but believe that this one suits me, as an individual more.

Well obvoiusly the members of APC love Black Flag enough to cover them and put it on an album. So they are big fans.

@opeth41 Well you're a human so you're opinion is appreciated. There's variance between Tool's albums, but each album the songs have similar styles, meanings. I love tool, but I like Skinny Puppy and Mike Patton too.
You've gotta really appreciate most of an artists work, see it as an evolution of their style man, without tool he wouldn't be in APC.

@XilianX2010 Some artists take the role of another party to point something out. You find it helpful to put yourself in the shoes of someone else sometimes right? The people who seem like "the enemy" often do things for good reasons in their eyes.

I like this version better than BlackFlag's. Probably because Perfect Circle gives me that vision of devastating scenes, portraying all the nasty habits that humans have. Not what I got when I heard BlackFlag's. It's also what I think of when I see the title of the song. BlackFlag's is good though.
