These photos with Kodak Ultramax 400 and a Canon P rangefinder are very sharp with good contrast. Santa Fe must be an interesting place to visit, with plenty of adobe looking buildings and interesting galleries. I am impressed with this film and will have to get some. Well done.
your storytelling is getting better and better! 3:05 high socks and pink crocs? he must be from Germany without question. 😆 Santa fe looks like someone has started to build sandcastles professionally. 3:57 looks soooo damn good. you should maybe make more street photos you have a knack for it!
I stumbled across this and I'm so glad I did! Cool video man. I used to live in Santa Fe and this was very nostalgic for me. I need to go back and shoot some film there again. If you're ever there again, shoot the Plaza and surroundings at night. Night photography is pretty epic there with the super warm tones of all the adobe and amber city lighting. Great series! Keep it up.
this series was too good man. the shot at 3:56 thought ❗️ literally insane, i loved that photo 😅 hoping you get to 1000 before the summer ends 🖤🖤 lots of good stuff
Sante Fe, my favorite place on the planet. Across the street from the oldest church is a fabulous pizza joint, the Upper Crust. Joshua Tree is a blast, I was lucky to live an hour away from there for a time.
@@ReimannPembroke Thank you! I'm from Amarillo just 4 hours from Sante Fe. I moved a few years ago to east Tennessee; my sister and I are taking care of our elderly parents. Not long after I'll get back to Texas I'll be headed up into the Sangre de Cristo mountains.
Kodak ultramax is a great film, with intense reds blues and yellows. I highly recommend it. It’s great and less money than portra, although it has a little more grain Are you afraid to shoot people face on? You may benefit from getting closer also. The photo of the lady with the hat was good
Thanks for the video. I like the look of UM400. I am partial to deeper colors in photos, and it seems that UM400 produces that. I am going to try it for my next series of color film photos.
I’ve stumbled across your channel while looking for videos about sunny 16 yesterday and been watching your videos since. Subbed! Also, I’m pretty new on film photography and, speaking about sunny 16, I’m curious: is this day you shoot in this video a case for f11? Or even f8? Thanks!
@@ReimannPembroke It’s such a perfect place to really take nostalgic photos lol. First day I was there, my mind went crazy and I did more thinking than taking haha
Hello I am new here. Saw couple of ur vids and I would say u got my attention!!! Got two questions: What u focus specifically on the photo 3:55? Secondly, do you think i should pick up a leica M or canon p( cuz i heard that canon p got some similar features with Leica, but the price on leica M in crazy high...i can afford one but dont know if it is worth the price , sorry i am new to the film photography Thx!
Hey there! I focused on the woman with the cool hat and just used a pretty small aperture of f/8 or so to get much of the background in focus also. I would not recommend jumping straight into Leica if you are new to film photography. Try a slightly less expensive camera first to see if you like the process! :)
@@ReimannPembroke thx man. U said u used f/8 aperture to focus, did you follow the sunny 16 rule? Which u also changed the shutter speed to match the rule right? Or u didn't? N yeah i think i might get The canon p also, cuz its straight beauty!!!
I’ve seen plenty of people get great results with point and shoots! Give it a try and see if you enjoy the process with your camera! Thanks for watching
It’s definitely a different vibe for sure. I like the mystery when peoples faces are hidden and I feel like the covid masks will be interesting to look at in the future! Thanks for watching!

Right?! Such a perfect moment to capture on film! I think that photo captures the vibe of Santa Fe very well

What lens are you using on the canon p?
For this video I was using a Jupiter 12 which is a very affordable Russian 35mm f/2.8 lens
Street photography just aint the same with everyone wearing a mask. Did you try to not catch faces intentionally? Nice video though! I want a Canon P.

The light leaks in between transition from video to photos is really so hard on eyes. Omit them next time. Other than that's great stuff.
Thanks! I wondered if it would be for some people. Maybe I’ll try to tone it down a bit so it’s not as bright
@@ReimannPembroke Might not be so bright and flashy on mobile devices but I was watching it on a laptop at full screen, so maybe that's why.
