"G" stands for Gretsch here, not for Gibson. Thanks for the video, it's a nice demo. Hohner also made a JT60 guitar in this product line. Based on it's manual you can add Full/Full/Off and positions 2,4 with a Jazzmaster-like sound (called Laid Back P90) to recommended presets. And they say that "Tele" setting with volume rolled off 1 notch gives a Ricky sound.

I got one of those, inside is a coil and the Middle Ton Ruler is a Push Button too! If you play Solo and push'em the Sound become more High Tones!
I don't like Strat Sound but this Guitar is a Mix of Strat Sounding Guitar and Typically like Ibanez Metal Guitars. It bring the Raw Metallic Sound of a Strat Mixed with Normal E-Guitar Sound!
I Love to play that Guitar the Fredboard is so Fast and Easy to Play, absolutly Wonderful Guitar.
The ATM Feature works, but don't await too much from it, it's more for Accustic Sounds and than you have a lot Functionality. But it's great to for many Colors in Heavy Solo Attacks.
My Guitar have a 3 Position Switch, in the Middle the Humbucker chopped in half and the one to the Fredboard is on with the Bridge Single Coil. In third Way only the Bridge Pickup work. All the Way down Position 1 it work as an Humbucker!
This Guitar is a Revelation for sure, I love that Thing!

***** I like it. I do have a Variax, but I do think this guitar is very interesting.
Does it use the regular pickups? One of the reason why the Variax isn't passive is because it uses digital convolution on piezo pickups to emulate the sounds. The same technology on impulse responses for cabinet simulators.
I do have to say though that I think this guitar is more interesting than the BOSS modeling stuff though.
