Ludwig Spohr Violin Concerto #2 in D min Op2
State Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan, Imant Kotsinsh
Allegro Moderato
Adagio
Alla Polacca
Great tone pieceof music thanks google for this treasure and treat truly a masterpiece.great violin instrument as well of course.
Charming music, lovely playing by the orchestra, and a class act soloist. Bezverkhny plays like a man, a complete artist, with a strong, well-developed personality. One of my favorite features of his playing is he has no fear to truly play mezzo-piano, piano, or pianissimo (so often, professional soloists just play everything forte or fortissimo).
Unfortunately, the USSR wrecked his potential career by not allowing him to leave the country on tour. He has a fantastic recording of Wieniawski 1 and Saint-Saens 3 (which he played to win Queen Elisabeth in 1976).
Thanks for sharing the recording!

@@user-gu6oj7iz5k -- Wow! BRAVO from Acapulco!
Wonderful old-school dark sound.
Great playing.goes withiout saying.
Conductor's name is spelled Imant Kotsinsh! (But now he goes by Imant Airea.) The conductor in the recording is my teacher, so I know for sure. :) Do you happen to have other recordings made by these two? These recordings are truly valuable. Thank you!
I’m also Imant’s student. I probably won’t play as good as this recording though. 😅 But at least I can learn some (or a lot of) things from it!😊
Monia.... great!!!
Very bad sound thecnician
Believe me....if YOU could do any better....you'd put down your crack-pipe, roll off the day-couch.....and actually DO something YOURSELF!
