- Introducing: MidiTrac ™
MidiTrac is a (early prototype) midi sequencer with amazing capabilities. It allows immediate recording of ideas without having to set any parameters, fast, comprehensive and versatile. More about the MidiTrac coming soon. infos: miditrac.com
Iam using the fantastic "Töörö" wavteable synthesizer from Fred's Lab, who is a 6 voice, 4 x multitimbral synth. A perfect partner for the MidiTrac.
The drum sounds delivers the Novation Circuit Tracks.
its just a live recording demo, not a masterpiece of composition, but its showing how fast and seemles you can record your ideas in some patterns in MidiTrac using step sequencer recording, user arpeggiator and quantized live recording.
THX for using MidiTraC...
my pleasure! Bug thumbs up 👍 looking forward to the first batch!
Just subscribed to your email list on your website : I hope to test the next batch of MidiTraC that you make!! :)
Hello Alfred! I really like this thing. Are they available for purchase perchance?
this year ;-)
Wow. Okay, so this is really cool. I'd love to have one. How much does it cost? Will it work with VIs/DAWs? My Rise2?
the pricetag is not yet set, but it will be very affordable;-) the batch version will also have a metal chassis and more. stay tuned!
@@HOLODECK-MUSIC-PROJECT ABSOLUTELY will stay tuned.....
Yo lemme ask you. Is the miditrac master, or circuit tracks? Also what is midiusb and din midi? I'm having a bitch of a time figuring out how to get the miditrac to work with my daw, and beatstrp pro for modular.
yo lemme answer ;-) the MT can be master or slave, in this setup it’s master and synch the Novation Circuit. The MT can have up to 16 tracks in one pattern, so that’s more than the Beatstep Pro can do ;-)
This is cool, but I really wish this were a linear sequencer instead of another step sequencer! A linear sequencer this size and with this aesthetic would be a smash hit! (hint hint, there aren't any RECENT 16 track linear sequencers on the market!).
It IS a linear sequencer! Up to 255 bars to record. More info at MidiTrac.com
@@HOLODECK-MUSIC-PROJECT The literature and videos do not express this. Can this be explored more in your videos? My Roland MC80 released in 1999 has a 99,999 bar limit. Why do so many contemporary sequencers have so many memory limitations compared to hardware released 30-40 years ago?
