Great info, I personally think tile on tile is OK for all rooms apart from bathrooms, just don't want to trap that moisture between two membranes that can never end well. Need to also consider heights of adjoining flooring transition strips, skirting boards ect..
Hi Terry, minimum of 60% of paint should be removed prior to installing tile system if not your relying on paint to carry the weight of tiles. once paint is removed Gripset OP primer may be used. Thanks for watching!
@@GripsetIndustriesPTYLtd OP looks to be for non porous surfaces given I also have villaboard and cement sheet on the same job, can it be used there too or do I need a porous primer aswell for those surfaces?

Do you have a system for priming painted plasterboard to ready for wall tiling?
