  • Using an older queen to fill a Apiymae hive with bees and brood to raise new queens. Moving the old queen to a new nuc after apiymae hive is full.

    I just don't like the look of the plastic hives, they might be a great product but they are ugly imop and they are expensive.
    No idea why keeps saying a year old queen is an old queen, we wonder why our queens life cycles are getting shorter, I think it's because of beekeepers breed shorter life spans into them. Queens use to live 5 to 7 years not they are old after 1 that's beekeepers doing it.
