While I’m extremely curious about Switch 2, it’s the games I want! Once we know what S2 can do, it’ll be fun to speculate on what the games will look like.
They'll capitalise on the success of The Super Mario Bros Movie by giving the stars special treatment. I can see a new 3D Mario and Luigi’s Mansion 4 being released as launch titles or early on into the new console's lifespan.
I love these fake leaks. I know they aren't real but I can't stand the lack of information nintendo is giving us. At least we can play pretend to ease our minds.
2025 is gonna be a great year for gamers! I’m hoping that with the Nintendo Switch 2 getting revealed soon, it will be even more exciting! And I’m very excited to see what else gets announced next year! XCX DE and Prime 4 are probably going to be my most played games next year!
@ I only have XCX DE on preorder. I really hope that Prime 4 wins most anticipated game of the year at TGAs. It would also be a good opportunity for them to show off a new trailer of the game. But I’m guessing we probably won’t see a new trailer until first Nintendo direct next year.
I have a theory that Switch 2 will use DLSS only to upscale from 720p to 1080p, then the dock will have a 4K Gamer Pro equivalent upscaler to bring it up to 4K. That means the developers only need to concentrate on the two power profiles that were rumoured, eliminating performance differences between handheld and docked. But crucially, pretty much any 3rd party game can perform well if devs make the right compromises, targeting native 720p.
Well, I have a theory that NS1 successor (not the fake & overspeculated "Switch 2") won't have DLSS features, cuz it would rise the price for the console SIGNIFICALLY & we all know that Nintendo likes to go the cheap way. So what AR is talking about in this video is BS & garbage & believing these "leakers" is not smart to say the least, especially Nash Weedle😓😤
@@Даниил-з4ь4фi think it's confirmed that nvda is making a unique chip for the next gen switch to run dlss, the cost saving will come from the lcd screen instead of the oled
2025 will be one of the biggest years in gaming ever. GTA 6 will be the biggest game launch of all time, but since the Switch 2 almost certainly won't be getting it at launch, they're going to have to get gamers attention with their own host of next gen games. It's going to be crazy. It's going to blow 2023 out of the water, and be the biggest year since at least 2018.
I believe GTA6 will help to sell more Switch 2 because gaming in general will reach a bigger audience. In the world of financial and news, Switch 2 is more important than GTA6 but I think most gamers prefer the game over the console.
I think they could launch in March, if they wanted to (but find it unlikely without a reveal yet.) Its simply mathematics based on their production capacity. Nintendo had something around 2 million Switch 1s ready for March 2017. We know some of these were built in late 2016 from the serial labels (my March 2017 purchase has a 2016 date on the label.) Assuming three months of production time, they averaged around 700K units per month prior to launch. And a 14.6 million number by end of year indicates they reached an average of 1.4 million units per month April-December after fully scaling-up. However, Nintendo's production capacity is even greater now. At maximum capacity of Switch 1 production circa 2021-2022, they were churning out around 2.4 million units per month. Granted some of their capacity (about 400K a month) would likely still be dedicated to Switch 1 production to satisfy 2025 demand, and there's a few hundred thousand units of Alarmos to be built per month (which may not even be built in the same factories as Switch 1 and Switch 2), its fair to say they can safely approach 1.8 million per month once ramped up. And perhaps even more given they spent a lot of money in the last year to improve the factories, presumably to prepare for Switch 2 manufacture. Now, assuming this 2.5 number scales to all territories evenly (probably won't), this leak seems to indicate Nintendo would desire 5 million Switch 2s at launch across the globe. Taking the Switch 1 ramp-up capacity as half of the expected fully-ramped-up capacity, or 900K per month, means about five and half months production in a worst-case scenario. If the factory improvements led to a 25% improvement in capacity, or they just simply pump the breaks on Switch 1 production a bit more, or Alarmo needs don't factor in, resulting in a volume closer to 1.25 million/month, that drops the production time to just 4 months. If production started in September or October (or is even just now starting or about to), which both the shipping manifest data and financial working product numbers seem to indicate may have happened, they could get to 5 million by March. If they've been secretly producing it for several weeks already, and get production rates even higher, or ramp up even quicker (since it took around three months to ramp up Switch 1 and we've still four and half until end of March for Switch 2), they might even be pushing to 6 or 7 million units available by end of March. I'd personally rather see 8-10 million to combat scalpers, but if Nintendo is happy with a 5 million number, all the better because that means an earlier release and thus more months for a powerful game lineup before holiday season 2025. I'd still put my money on an April-June timeframe, since Nintendo will want several months of high-profile build-up and media coverage and might not want to squash Xenoblade X in same month. But if they've got their hearts set on March they can absolutely make it happen.
We don't factually know anything about the manufacturing/production process of NS1 successor, except rumours which are presented to us as "leaks", almost as "facts"😤 & some very vague & unveryfiable datamines, so it's hard to analyse something😓😠
Ah yes, like when 2024 was gonna be the switch release year, yeah gonna be blunt until nintendo shows the damn thing with a release date i ain't buying anything from leakers because they have been CONSISTENTLY wrong in regards to switch 2
only way GTA6 would be on switch 2 year 1, is if Nintendo worked with Rockstar on development (to get it running as decent as possible), and Nintendo offered them some money.
Not the "Switch 2" (which we all know is fake) but NS successor console & it will supposedly (& more realistically) launch, I think, on Holiday 2025 at the earliest. The best scenario is Spring 2026 option😅
Nintendo never said when it will be released. They only mentioned that they'll announce the console WITHIN the fiscal year which ends on March' 30/31 2025
The switch 2 will fail miserably, most casual players are more than happy playing Mario Kart on the original switch, they don’t need another one. Casual players don’t upgrade their systems very often. Plus the Switch 2 won’t be that much better graphically than the original switch. Plus Nintendo needs to address the obvious lack of racial and gender diversity in their games. We want a black Mario and a gay Luigi. Plus princess peach needs to be the main protagonist not Mario cus that’s sexist
Well yes, because if you are a casual gamer, you aren't playing videogames often, in fact infrequently! What do you mean by casual? Because this implies by definition not playing frequently.
While I’m extremely curious about Switch 2, it’s the games I want! Once we know what S2 can do, it’ll be fun to speculate on what the games will look like.

Water, Air, Fire and Dirt.
Fucking Magnets! How do they work???
If that’s the case then we’ll just have to wait and find out.
