Tip ‼️⚠️ marinade your meat overnight or for at least 4 hours😅

I like to use Ranchera steak from the meat market because it’s sliced thinner but feel free to use your favorite cut of beef
Ingredients:
3 lbs ranchers,skirt,flank or flap
Queso Oaxaca
Tortillas
Hatch green Chiles or jalapeños
Guacamole • How to Make GUACAMOLE ...
Green salsa • THE ONLY SALSA YOU WIL...
For the marinade:
1/2 cilantro chopped
1/2 onion sliced
1 jalapeño chopped
2 minced garlic cloves
The juice of 2 oranges
The juice of 4 juicy limes
1/4 cup olive oil
2-3 tsp Chef Merito meat and steak seasoning
Salt I used 1 1/2 tsp
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika or chile powder
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp oregano
1 serving of love 💕

How in the heck does Claudia stay clean while she’s cooking? Starts gorgeous ends gorgeous…. Me can’t drink a cup of coffee without a drip.
She does a great job but if you’ve never heard it before, the best advice I ever received was to clean as I cook. If you have any steps where you aren’t actively cooking/cutting then start cleaning. And throw away any waste right away. Hope this helps you too!

Great video, I like it. But Cheese doesn't belong on a Mexican carne asada taco. Tacos are relatively healthy, you are asking for obesity when you add cheese. The cheese alone doubles the calorie count of the whole taco and is mostly fat calories. Stick to a an authentic Mexican taco, tortilla, carne asada, onion, cilantro, lime and salsa.
That ain't Carne Asada you need charcoal and a grill, that is nothing more than pan seared meat, for the love of God Carne Asada just means barbecued meat, there is no essence of mesquite smoke in this soulless method, you people get it wrong on a basic level Carne Asada isn't a dish its a way of cooking the meat.

Freakin' BRILLIANT! A chile relleno con asada?!?!? Dang, why didn't I think of that!!! Can't wait to try this! We still love YOUR Mexican rice recipe over all others we've tried! We've done both methods, in the Instant pot and stove top. The instant pot is a lot easier and just as deliciosa.

I accept your challenge Claudia! I have some skirt in the freezer that I will thaw for tomorrow. I will however grill it outside over charcoal and oak wood as it should be. My asada will reign supreme!! (probably still wont be as good as yours 😛) Love the cheese stuffed peppers in the taco idea. I'm hungry already

I live in Oregon now and finding authentic Mexican food is difficult. This made me homesick. I’m from LA and left for the military and came back and lived in SD. So I know good Mexican food, also my first wife was from Zacatecas and she (her family) taught me a lot!

Ok, I tried this recipe for carne asada and the chilis too. We did ours a little different because we cooked our carne asada y roasted our chilis outside over mesquite. I hate to tell you this but you should put a disclaimer at the start of your video . . . THIS STUFF IS ADDICTING!!!!

Can't find the chef merito steak seasoning anywhere locally. Looking at the ingredients online, it's a no. Lots of msg and the unhealthy fd&c yellow #5. The other ingredients like cumin, black pepper, salt and paprika, you are adding extra yourself. I still like your recipe and can add the extra seasonings that are being excluded without the addition of merito's steak seasoning. Thank you and I can't wait.

For my taste, too much lime juice can denature the protein in the meat making it 'mushy' if marinated to long. Just saying.
