We really need to send our commanders over to the Brit’s for a few months for training.. ever time I watch a Brit gear video I’m left in awe of how simple and effective their kit is vs the crap we deal with..
Belt kit is great for rural or jungle OPS. But when it comes to urban warfare the US has it down pretty good. Low profile kit on the plate carrier with a slim battle belt is good to go. Belt kit is also a no go for mounted operations as it’s pretty much impossible to sit in a vehicle for hours upon hours in belt kit. So as always METT-TC applies lol. Regardless of all that, the designers and manufacturers of our kit are all in the bag with Uncle Sam. It’s just about making money. That needs to stop.

Great rundown on the ,I think superior, way to carry your gear if you are dismounted. Keeps your front clear so you can hit prone better and has the space for some important emergency and sustainment items. Nate

I have to say I much prefer the 58 pattern water bottle to the US one. If you do get a UK belt kit or even a Velocity Systems Jungle kit the 58 bottle fits much better. The US ones are taller
Airsoft Innovations makes reusable "flashbangs" that are very loud. They use off the shelf 22cal nail gun cartridges and the timers can be adjusted. I've heard of a company called IMA that apparently makes good ones too. As far as smoke? I think Enola Gaye makes good ones but it seems most of the airsoft stuff doesn't put out nearly as much smoke as real ones do. The long and short is, airsoft versions of that stuff is all we can get. Flashbangs aren't legal to be sold to civilians which is lame.
@@adamdyment9732 I bought some of the airsoft innovations ones a while back but haven't tested them. Seems folks mostly say that they are indeed pretty loud. The units are a a bit expensive, like 100 bucks a piece, but they are reusable. The nail gun cartridges come in different powers that are color coded too. So if you install a stronger load, its louder. Pretty cool concept imo.

@@musician445 oh nice. Ive seen several primer based bangs but didn't realize they had timers. Especially if theyre decently loud
