    I appreciate that no additional salt was added to the recipe. The bacon and the cheeses probably bring a fair amount of salt to the dish as is. For those who try to limit their sodium intake this is a win.

    Very nice! I would probably crisp the bacon up by frying it with the onion first, because hubby likes his bacon browned - then adding it to the cup moulds, and whisk the cheese up with the egg... but this is a terrific recipe to adapt.. you could put tiny pieces of potato, jalapenos and even sweetcorn or sweet peppers for a tasty veggie difference! Thanks for the idea!

      Thank you!! I came here looking for the temp and time. You'd think she'd have it in the video since it's a cooking video.

    I just made these with minor ingredient modifications to suit my own taste. I about half-cooked the 2 slices of bacon first and drained off the fat (maybe mine was fattier?), other ingredients, 2 oz grated sharp cheddar cheese, 1/2 oz full fat cream cheese, 2 large eggs, 1 tbsp whipping cream, 1 1/2 tsp dried parsley, 2 tbsp fresh finely grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, and ½ tsp butter for greasing the 3 muffin cups. These were absolutely delicious. Probably best if eaten shortly after baking. All 3 of us loved them. I will make these again, only next time I will double it to make 6, or maybe even quadruple it to make a dozen and try reheating them!!

      yes, that sounds so good, trying them today will add some of your recipe...i'm thinking to triple recipe & heat up in the airfryer instead of microwave to keep the texture of outside cripsy. thanks for the ideas!

    Loos so good! On another note, regarding R28, did u do a cheat day once a week b4 ur fast? I have still not dine mine b/c I'm scared, so I'm curious how u went about it. Did u eat fast food etc? Ty!

    • @arianaomipi
      @arianaomipi  10 років тому +1

      I wouldn't call it a 'cheat' day. I didn't really do R28 but just followed the principals and majority of the guidelines with a more ketogenic approach. I've always followed the structure of doing 5 days ketogenic, 1 day labeled as a carb day which introduces food that I can't have during those 5 days (fruit, starchy vegetables etc) and then I do a 24 hour water/tea fast so my last meal will be Saturday dinner and then the following Sunday dinner. I would occasionally eat food completely off plan as I liked to take a 80/20 approach and you have to take it as a lifestyle change if you're wanting change long term. It wasn't often and definitely wasn't fast foods such as Maccas, KFC etc ♥

      I usually have two, sometimes three depending on how hungry I am. Mine a medium size though so one or two if you're using a large muffin tin ♥

    Dear you tube channel,
    You should probably remove the link under bacon and eggs in description because it is a Chinese porn site. Thanks. Now I Williston likely be seeing ads for this crap.

    The recipe links head over to Asian porn sites. I wonder if they got hijacked or if this is a scam link.
