@@tadaho2128 its called a recap...? Used to do it every video when we had to split stuff and didn't have an intro filmed
Next farm episode?
@@johngrefer9799 I would imagine in a while, they already planted, not much left but to wait right.
how well will the AMC Eagle do in those sand dunes?
Yeah I'd invest in a set of dove-c heads and a top dead timing set and a rebuilt distributor for the 460 think you'll be surprised how well it'll run I still think the roll pin is sheared and the gear is bound on the shaft causing it to be advanced to far when the mechanical advance comes in lots of timing advance and low compression equals lots of pinging out of a 460
Met you at the bar on the Badger, thoroughly enjoyed this series. Good stuff!
I was wondering if I'd see ya in the comments!! I remember!
Whoa that’s so awesome
This series is one of my favorites! I never even heard of the sand dunes!
21:00 First step in hood paint preparation - sand the hood well :D
Your ending voiceover was honestly hilarious. Thanks for the show, love this stuff!
Oh really good 🤪
I grew up in Hart MI, I worked at Hart Pizza in high school.
I hope they put Jessie's art on the wall like they used to.
Watching this makes me homesick! 😂
I'm glad you liked the dunes, I knew the O'l Caddy would do it!
I'm going to hart today anything there worry seeing or doing
@@RIP-sm1gx silver lake sand dunes
We love Jesse! Thanks for being the camera man and more!
Ya Jesse!! Great work as usual...keep it up!
Alright. Thanks for another installment on the Cadico. I know a lot of folks love you guys. I hope everybody in this community is having a good one. Happy 4th, everybody. 🧨💥🤙🏾
I lived in Hart for a few years, over 30 years ago. Silver Lake is fantastic, even if you don't have a 4X4! Perfect place to run your beast!
Silver and gooooold, siiiilllvvveeerrr and goooolllld
shes no beast, shes a MOOK !! LOL
The Badillac did amazingly well, I really did expect something to break or fail otherwise. Great video as always!
Looks like you guys had a blast. Great to see that car doing what it was made to do. Hope to see more of it in the future its such an interesting and unique vehicle it deserves some TLC and maybe a new paint job?
Junk yard mook is amazing hope y'all stick it out for life great together!!
I'm waiting for her only fans yes
Why would he alienate his daughter ? ? ? LOL, I mean... BA,HAHAhahahahahahahaha !
@@inmyopinion6836 you mean sister 🤣😅🤣🤣🤣
@@johnsnow1355 bruh......
Rock on!
you should make that ether tire inflation with a flame thrower part of your intro cuz that is probally the most impressive shot ive seen on any automotive youtube channel! that seriously is a 1 in a million shot! my cousin is an actor and he said he’s never seen anything like it!
🔥⚙️
0:22 how it jumped up 😂
Really? Resetting the bead like that is pretty common.
Drivers in the wilderness do it all the time. I’ve seen it happen quite a few times.
The simple adventures often turnout to be the most fun and rewarding. Great video as always. How's the corn going? Can I get a CORN update PLEASE
"The question is, did I throw it or did it explode?" 19:09 you can clearly see it thrown. Awesome job crew, this series has been fun and the outro was hilarious.
I caught that too, but you beat me to the comment. You could actually hear it getting thrown if you listen closely!
I'm surprised it didn't require a tow home. It was sounding like crap!
Looks like you guys had fun and the out-ro was hilarious 😂
Glad ya enjoyed your visit, you'll have to come again, lol...
Back in the mid '70's, when I used a coping saw to remove every other row of knobbies to make a poor boys sand paddle for my 400cc 2 stroke dirtbike, there was a guy with a Chevy van, wide tires, shag carpeting, etc & a straight 6. That would air down to almost flat, & run around in 2 wheel (1 wheel?!?) drive... He always seemed to have fun & still drive out, lol! Sure glad you weren't there on a weekend, place is nuts nowdays...
Thanx for the fun!
Spectacular video !!!! Been to this location ( Sand Dunes ) a few years back with my brother and his Old Jeep Willys !
Ludington is my home town. Yes the sand gets into EVERYTHING! Use to run the dunes in a 73 Jeep CJ5. That Battleaxe Cadillac did surprisingly well in the sand. Looks like you had a blast. Enjoyed the video.
Do they still have the house of flavors ice cream restaurant I really remember the Reuben sandwich they served
My grandparents had a place on Ford lake not to far from scottsville
@@chrischris7816 yes it’s still there. But a much bigger facility.
That’s my old stomping grounds for sure. Spent many a weekend out on the dunes before it got so regulated. Glad you were able to enjoy SLSD!! Love the channel and the content!
This Caddy is so stupid that I love it! I really enjoyed this series of shows!
Always love watching the daddy caddy!!!!! I wonder how the old 79 bronco would do against it in the dunes 🤔😂

Probably about the same cause its the same car basicly with a diferent body

I've been looking forward to seeing how it holds up!
Notification Squad🔥🔥🔥. This thing is so ridiculous and cool. I've been waiting for this video and I can't wait to see how it does in the dunes
Edit: this thing did surprisingly well. I hope you and Mook fix some of the issues it has and make it even better.
Sweet the lifted caddy at the dunes been waiting for this video Thanks for the entertainment Kevin @Junkyard Digs
I've always wanted to take the SS Badger across the lake. Thanks for sharing some of that experience with us! While it probably was super frustrating with the camera audio, I absolutely loved your voice overs in this series, haha. Nice work y'all, and good job Badillac!
Definitely make time to travel on it. I took a round trip this week and it’s an experience I’ll never forget. I couldn’t get enough of it.
I would love to see a series where you overhaul this rig. When I was a kid there was a guy in my neighborhood who had a Vega, a Camaro and an El Camino all on Blazer chassis. 😎
Kevin is a mechanical genius!
Epic. The Caddy medallion just really puts it over the top. I hope we see more of this ride
This is a STUPID FUN video!!! I really loved that there was a real Cadillac commercial in the middle! 🤣🤣🤣 If they only knew...!!! Also that random little power antenna choad. Too funny! You guys are the best!
I hope one day we the viewers get to see a surprise revival video where you travel to Luke for a revival, when you two are together it was always an amazing, educational, very entertaining, and a slight comedy show. those were hands down my favorite video's you have posted and I have watched all of them. keep up the awesome content and get everything possible running again.
Hey Kevin, I would totally watch an entire episode in voiceover. BTW, my favourite part of the Badillac is the Bronco bumper still fitted below the Cadillac Bumper.
Kevin on the hood going down hill a total classic! Great job Mook and Kevin!
Silver Lake is such a BLAST! I'm glad you guys enjoyed it! You're right that it's fun to drive, but there is also a show happening all around you all day. The State Park campground is like a car show too. 🙂
This thing is rad! I hope you fix the cooling and alternator issues and hop the engine up! Get some paddle tires and call them SXSblog fellas with their fancy 2jp out for a race!
I love this, you three are so wholesome!
Awesome just having a spare belt
I had my (new at the time) 75 Bronco up there the last time 45 years ago. While climbing hard on the hills on the Sunday afternoon before we were leaving for home, (didn't have a trailer for it,) I got the transmission so hot that in shifting it from neutral into drive, it would take about 20 seconds to kick in. Totally foamed the tranny fluid!! Made it home from that, and installed an external trans cooler the next week! Nice to see that park hasn't changed too much in all that time. Still the same entrance - rough as a cob! You guys did great with that old beater!!!! 🤣
Love how this video
Didn’t pop up under my subscriptions, yet I knew it was posted and found it under your page
Dang I'm impressed with that Cadillac
You should do a whole series of videos with this car. Take it to the offroad park where you took the AMC? Battle to the death with the trail Bronco?
I grew up in W. Michigan (Holland). Been to the "Dunes" many times with our ATV's. I had an 84 Honda 200x (4 stroke) 3 wheeler that was an absolute beast out there. Last time I was out there was in 99.
Another thing to look up.
The badger seems amazing.
I love the train tracks on the deck. That ship screams history. 😍
I wish I would've seen the Badger in action back in the day, with trains rolling on and off the deck, as well as many of smaller towns with mining, wood milling and other things at their peak back in the day, with the railroads being their lifelines.
The dunes seem to be great. Not just as a playground, those views are really nice.
From the people who helped you out with a carb, the ferry and finally the dunes, thanks for showing a bit of the beauty of the US.
love the video's keep up the good work can't stop watching y'all's video's when y'all upload
Fantastic Video! I hope to see more of the battleac in the future! Makes me want to get on marketplace and find me a homebrew 4x4 of my own lmao
How can you not like this caddy 4 by 4! Great job getting it running! The dunes we will see! Looks like a absolute blast! She’s a trooper!
Love your show. Nice to see you and your better half enjoying old vehicles and all the laughs
In the end, I call this "Restart/Renewal/Ruin" Episode an absolute WIN!
Too bad for the paint on the hood...
But (as edited video shows) everyone involved had a great experience throughout this Se-Kill Series!
notification squad, Have a nice weekend!🔥🔥🔥
Awsome weekend jeep invasion was fun that’s me in the red Jeep at 9:49 taking the camera man up test hill 🤙🏻💯
so glad you could make it to our sand dunes they are not the biggest but they are alot of fun. please come back and enjoy them again. thank you for coming to our great state and showing your followers something everyone can come enjoy.
I'd try fitting the proper clutch driven fan and fabricating an appropriate fan shroud out of aluminum so it would mate up with the radiator. Not all electric fans are suitable and often times they just flat out suck for airflow in comparison to the original clutch fan.
this 460 had a mechanical fan not a clutch fan a good efan will out perform a clutch fan but a mechanical (direct drive) fan is worse than a parts store pusher fan
@@TylerDuysen I wouldn't want to run a fixed fan either but you can probably acquire a clutch fan adapter, just as they make adapters to turn a clutched fan into a fixed fan. I have a feeling those E-fans aren't enough for that big 'o girl 460. Plus god knows the efficiency of that cooling system as it is. I installed 3 10" Flex-A-Lite electric fans in my 1995 Jeep Cherokee and they weren't always enough to keep it as cool as it would have been with the stock clutch fan and e-fan combo when it came to the trails. That was also combined with running with a 3-core all metal radiator too. The 10" fans didn't pull the volume that the big clutch fan did. High RPM revs at relatively low speed (low ram airflow) will definitely show you the weakness of your fans.
@@Guillotines_For_Globalists well 10 in is a small fan even the parts store fans are bigger than that and yeah this 460 needs better cooling but its also got way to small of a radiator clutch fans are better in most cases but a really good e fan will beat a clutch fan every time in cfm (how many cfm it has will determine how it cools)
@@TylerDuysen That's right but any bigger and the fans would be hanging down below the radiator anyway due to how narrow it was.
I've been on the ss badger with a semi an got to tour the engine room they r huge
Dangit, thats what we were trying to do!
keep it PG-13, BigBear!
@@JunkyardDigs ya it was a nice tour with the captain of the vessel alot of history there with all the ferrys they had back in the day its a nice trip across the lake
Looks like a great time. 👍 Thanks for sharing and have a great week 👋
This thing is SO AWESOME, and it definitely deserves a solid revamp! Fix the timing issue, get some proper off-road shocks in there if it doesn't have them already, address the cooling issue, and this will be such a badass off-road rig!
Get the timing backed off and it should have plenty of power to tackle whatever you want and add a mini spool out back for two tire fire
the dizzy is stuck
@@StormHawksHD when he gets it in the shop a little heat and persuasion will take care of that
This has been a fun series. Glad you guys enjoyed a bit of Michigan. I live about 2.5 hours from Silver Lake.
Im addicted to watching these two . Keep on reviving guys
love your vid u should do a collab with WD
Big gurrrrrlgy and HEAVY! What's not to love. Rock n Roll!
Dude I just lose it when you do voice over stuff, it just crack's me up. ROCK ON !!!!!!
That's a great start for a wasteland car....hint hint.
Lol. Thanks for sharing this adventure. My aunt had a white cad with blue velvet inside. Wish her hubby had done it up to a 4x4 after she totaled it the 1st time.
Probably the video ...where I think you had THE MOST FUN... I have seen in a long time.....
I was rather surprised and somewhat pleased to discover that dad's Toyota Tundra has a clutch fan. Newest vehicle that I've ever seen with one.
Not too shabby. Good job earthlings lol. It was funny the sand sledding attempts .
I saw the screen clip and knew right away that it was the Silver Lake Sand Dunes! Great video!
The Badillac looked perfect at the sand dunes. Great job
GREAT REPLAY INTRO‼️👍👍👍👍thanks for the great vids JUNKYARD DIGS🇨🇦❤️
"Wait for the- wait for the 4 wheelers to drive by. *bang*"
I loved the narration haha
I haven’t even truly started the video yet but that previously on was top notch. It was a perfect recap of the shenanigans. Lol😂
Silver lake is an awesome place. I'm glad you guys got to check it out.
Awesome. Looks like you got the full Silver Lake experience
Another great video. You were in my back yard, the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. Glad you made it all around the dunes and back out without any major breakdown. Congrats!
Congrats Guy's on getting to the Dunes, driving all over the area, with-out getting Struck..
You ain't kidding about our roads in Wisconsin, my sister lives in Carroll Iowa, as soon as we cross the Mississippi River the roads get a hell of a lot better.
Your vids are always awesome! Thanks Kevin
I've been to Silver Lake many times. Glad you enjoyed our dunes, and I hope you can make it back. It's really fun there, many good memories.
This caddy series has been fantastic. But you taking off the hood and riding it like a sled and just not going anywhere was the best thing of it all. You guys are awesome thank you for what you do.
That was so cool to watch you enjoy running the sand with the car.
Hope to see another in the future !!
It looks like it is really a blast to drive !!!!!!!
Excellent job, guys!Great video series! Thank you for all your hard work to keep us sane and entertained!
It has been 40 years the last time I was at Silver Lake Dunes. My uncle lives in Kalamazoo, MI it was a blast being there and got my 1st dune buggy ride
We have trails and orv parks everywhere in MI,UP, glad you guys had an awesome time!🤘🏻
Just gets better and better. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes from downunder.
i enjoy the adventure type feel of this video. especially the barge
Outstanding work. Pretty cool to put it in 3 parts. But the ending seeing it in the dunes was epic! That Caddy is one beast.
20:58 this brings a new meaning to hood sliding
Never thought you'd make it. Great job!
SS Badger and the Michigan-side dunes are truly a hidden gem here in the upper midwest.
Hallo junkyard dinsdag have im fotowing You now on UA-cam for a wile and i love to see this old Cars Cumming up and driving again have a good time with yunkyard mooi and jesse to gether greatings From friesland
You guys are great. It's crazy we both have the same first and last name. Looks like you had fun. It was fun to watch. Thanks for it all.
..........................😮😮😮😮😮😮😮 WOW!!!! Thanks for the video. I am glad that you gave that old build a new life. 😎😎😎
I love this miracle offroad 😜
Looks like a blast! With the way that engine was pinging while pulling the hills that car needs to be named the Rattillac!
What a absolute UNIT can’t wait for the return 🤘
The bonnet down the hill bit. 😄😁😆
Mooks face says it all on the ending , classic
Back in the eighties we were quad'n every holiday weekend at the dunes. Great fun😀
Man that looks like a blast
This one is too much fun to just stop here. I hope you can get this rig dialed in and running great. Onward as there are more offroad experiences again.
Would like to see a video of you guys going thru the "Badillac" to resolve some of its issues. That was a BEAST!!!!
bro this was just soooo soooo fun
cadillac sure played a major part
Just love it. On another note, those old GM master cylinders with plastic reservoirs and mushy pedal. I found you can put a hose clamp or clamps around it and no more mushy pedal
