Wow! I have never seen this in-depth video about VR, Thank you for making this one :) To be frank, I have never tried any sort of VR in my entire life but this thing is very interesting. I never knew these things were so advanced this is basically a whole computer, the feature where we can mix our surroundings and the game is crazy! I love it. The only thing I felt is that the camera quality can be improved it will make the game even better! After watching this video, I get what actually Apple Vision Pro is, let's see what Apple does, but that thing will cost crazy, probably we can buy an Alto at its price 🤣🤣
Very true, we can get a small car for the price of the Apple Vision Pro 😅, as for the Quest 3, the simplicity of just picking it up and playing within a few seconds made me interested in VR again.

At 09:22, you've mentioned that, after connecting the VR headset to the PC, the storage now takes place on the PC. Can you please clarify this? Does it mean I can go-in for the cheaper 128Gb variant, and still be use it for my PC VR MSFS 2020? Also, will there be any resultant latency issues? TIA.
The games are installed on your PC and the headset is in effect just playing back a video stream which is being broadcast by the PC. Also the game being installed on the PC doesn't take up space on the headset itself. Games on steam (PC) are much cheaper than on the Meta store. If you are mostly playing tethered to the pc you won't need the 512gb version, for me 128 gb was more than enough for most games. Worst case I uninstall a game which I don't play much and with high speed Internet it takes a few minutes to reinstall.

Due to the pancake lens on the quest 3, we have shorter focal lengths and a broader field of view. This is one of the most advertised features on the quest 3.

It can be worn over spectacles, and for me it's clear. You can change the distance of the display and your eyes, front and back to allow accommodating glasses.

Totally agree, it's been easier to get into VR gaming without all the troubleshooting I needed to do with my HTC Vive. Enjoying VR again after a long time.
You won't get the 3d effect thats provided by the dual displays. It can be used with one eye too. The price is high for this device, if you have siblings they can take advantage of it, else a TV will work better for 2D viewing. 😁

So can you specify the voltage charging compatibility for charging the quest 3 headset. USA voltage is 110-120V (60 Hz), while in India and other countries, 220-240V (50 Hz) is used. Thank you.
I can't remember but I think India was not in the list of the countries when setting up, so I had chosen United states. All games are listed in usd, so international credit card would be required. There are tons of apps, so not sure what's missing and all the big favorites are available. I can also use it with a PC for PCVR gaming so the library only extends.

Hi, I don't have the 8600g with me anymore as AMD had provided it for testing and review. I have used VR on a gtx 1060 and had no problems at all, so performance should be similar as VR games are not very gpu intensive.

Do you mean the storage, 512 GB version is around 72k on amazon india, so too expensive. I also use this with Steam Link, so I can play larger games using the power of my PC and it's storage.
I purchased it off of amazon India, didn't want the confusion of how much customs would charge. Customs are very finicky and can even place 100% duty so I'm very careful.

It's just like how the recording looks, it's good, not great but is still better than the quest 2. Low light has a lot of video noise, but if it's bright enough it's very clear. You can walk down stairs and obstacles easily.

Kids around that age would generally want a good phone or laptop 🙂, the Meta Quest 3 is a good VR headset but over and above the price of the headset the games cost high too.
I don't think there's any way to get warranty support in India as it's not officially sold here. There might be third party repair stores but not sure. Hope nothing goes wrong with mine 🧿
I'm using Indian ICICI Amazon pay credit card and it works. Make sure your cards are active for international payments via your banks online portal. I think it's inactive by default.

The camera quality is not the best also in low light there's going to be noise(dots). Looking at my recorded video if it's very different then better to get it replaced by the seller you purchsed the headset from.
@sameeraappuhami pass through is more clear, we have floating windows which can be placed anywhere, there are a lot of upgrades, there are videos listing the updates on UA-cam. For me I play the same games so don't notice much change other than pass through.

You don't need any voltage converter, it works with any usb-c charger.

Just use a pin converter, no voltage conversion required. Anchor roma plugs support straight pins too, so no converter required.

It's a universal power adapter and works between 100-240v. You can also use a phones charger to charge up the quest 3 as it's usb-c.

Internet is only required when downloading games, once downloaded it doesn't need internet.

Yes, I use glasses with the quest 3. Just set it to the farthest point on the facial interface and you have enough space for glasses.

Hi, I am a lifelong spectacled person 😢, how is the experience for such person. I am assuming you can't wear glasses inside the headset.
We have the option to move the face guard forward and back, when out at max we have enough space to wear glasses. I use it this way.
