These are the exact bulbs I put in my 2004 WJ Overland. They are "whiter" -- higher color temperature -- than the OEM's but I am not sure they are any brighter (greater luminance). Does anybody have a recommendation for a bulb that really turns the road ahead into daylight?
Thank you. My daughter and I have to work on our own jeeps. I really appreciate the tips and just the over all way you showed us how to replace bulbs. Your Awesome!
Greatly appreciated! We just got my mother-in-law's 03 Grand Cherokee and my wife drove from Colorado to Oklahoma with high-beams and apparently, parking lights only. Both low-beams were shot. Luckily, no ticket. But I was able to follow your video easily. I am sure it was the first time in 20 years those headlight modules had been removed. NOT EASY! I was sure to add some lithium grease to the posts when I reinstalled the modules.
Thank you for watching our auto repair video that shows you how to change the headlight bulbs in a 1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Hope this has helped you out.
Thank you so much for your advise. I followed it to a T. It went perfect. Five minutes, I was done. I thought that I would have to take out the air filter assembly. I was wrong. Thanks again.
Well done~! I think the grease is a good idea for everything. May I suggest some on the tip of that long screw? Thanks for the add on about adjustment.

That’s only for turn signals. However, after a bulb fails, it’s a good idea to grease the muffler bearings because they usually fail soon after if not serviced.
@ 3:50 I wonder if Sil-Glyde slide pin lube would be good for that (or even for rust proofing the threaded end of that long bolt/screw that you took out first also any dialectric or "bulb grease" good for where the bulbs push into their connectors?
I just ordered new lights for my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The lights came with all light socket in place and a single 5 contact plug. I do not have a socket to plug into . What do I do?
Thank you Jeep brother for your video. I would like to know about the heater blower system don't know what you call it. I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2000 from used dealer but it turns out the mechanism behind glove compartment part of its missing you had a pair of jeans stuffed in there. I get no heat from the right side of the system. So if you could show how to get access to that I can go there junkyard because the dealer said they didn't sell depart anymore and I can have a warm Jeep in the winter because it's getting cold now would really appreciate
Yeah there are four total two high and two low beam. Here is a link to them on out website Buy replacement Halogen bulbs: Here is the high beam bulb amzn.to/2yQdlGH Here is the low beam bulb amzn.to/2Wlp4pI
I am having issues with my condenser on a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee I just bought. I can physically move it up and down and i know its not supposed to do that. The connecting corners dont connect to anything but empty space. Help?
Question for yourself or any others for that matter. What options for replacing the entire headlight if the inside of the lens is completely etched/worn? Are there replacement headlights that are (ahem . . . ) 'plug and play'?? Also the halogen bulbs you put in; nothing extraordinary to the replacement i.e. it comes all in one . . . . again, 'plug and play'??
All depends on the quality - they are a superior technogy in everyway, but have to be designed to work and mimic the operation of a halogen bulb as they go into a housing designed for a halogen beam pattern. A poorly designed module will be dimmer, have a more scattered beam pattern and generally useless if you opt for a bargain-basement Amazon or eBay package. Buy from reputable maker like GTR, Morimoto or Oracle - they have established themselves as the best in the business
Warning: the 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Owner's Manual says headlight bulbs are 9004. That is incorrect. The 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Service Manual says 9005 and 9006, which is in agreement with links provided by Tony (Homeowner Repair).
Thanks, I took a large screwdriver to it. Found the three round headed button knobs on the pins were rusted into the plastic holder clips. I lubricated them upon installing the new lenses. My apologies, I gotta quit barking so soon before investigating. :-) Much thanks.

It may help out.
Do you have a link to the bulbs you used in this video?
Sorry just saw this
What bulbs did you get for the LED ones?
They were just off of Amazon. Nothing special
How did you keep your headlamps from fogging over? They look great for their age.
I think I had replaced them at one point..lol
3M headlight restore kit. It's the best.
Hello what type of led bulb need for grand cherokee 2001 for low beam?
The 9006 should be the low beam bulb and 9005 should be the high beam. Here is a link to the low beam bulbs on Amazon: amzn.to/3VaYH3M

If the housing is there and just the blower motor is missing you should be able to buy a new blower motor assembly
hi, i just found urs film nice to see and im wounder what kind linghting do u use in urs lamp, maybe u know name of them , thanks for info
They are LED bulbs. The make a big difference on this Jeep!
Where can i find that wire? Or that connector thing hardness, The one that connects to the bulb? What is it called. Can't seem to find one.
It sounds like you are looking for a replacement pigtail end for the bulb. Your local auto parts store of the dealer should have one for you.
Which is the high beam in which is the low beam?
This headlight bulb closest to the grill (inside light) should be the low beam bulb. Hope this helps you out.
Thanks for the video. Worked like a charm
Thanks for watching, glad this has helped you out
How many lights do you need total to replace whole front end? 2 high beam and 2 low beam?

Not sure where it attaches to. There should be some type of a mounting point on it.
Thank you! Looks like something I can definitely tackle on my own :-)

I know how to replace the light bulbs, and I know how to move the light up-and-down, but how do you move the light from left to right?
I believe there is an adjuster on the back of the headlight housing.

I found I had to pull the light from the bottom. It was like there was a hook at the top so pulling from the bottom "unhooked" it.

Are LED bulbs any better?
But anyways Thank you...I enjoy your video's!
They do shine a lot better and fill the road more evenly.

I ended up breaking them rods on the headlight adjusters on both of the ones I took out they just snapped right off
Yeah you have to be careful with them especially with the aftermarket headlights
Do the low beam lights go to the outside or inside on the assembly
The inside lights are the high beams. Hope this helps you out

Mine is not just popping out. Something holding it other than just that bolt.
Sometimes you may need to tug on it a bit.
