I turned 81, 7/28 2022. No ironman for me but still walk, run and do a lot of pushups. some weights and bands. Age can be a limit, but you will never know what that age is, if you don't give it a shot. It has been a lifestyle for me for as long as I can remember. The fun part about starting a program is that you will see improvement almost immediately no matter how old you are. Go slow but go.

This man is an inspiration. So often older people are ignored & written off. We have a lifetime of experience & the younger generations could learn a lot from us.
A standing ovation for Yee Sze Mun !!

Sorry to say but your body just isn't able to manage the stress caused by all that running. I would recommend swimming with all your might but reduce the running because that is the main cause of all that pain. That's why soldiers just swim and not run as much as they get older.

Shafiq Nazrin : he's asking for trouble. Sooner or later, at some point when he's least expecting it, the rubber band will break. I just hope that when it tears away, it will not cripple him. Not all rubber bands have the same strength and elasticity but they will all break at some point when they are pulled repeatedly.
