GG! thanks RT!
Lurkers really felt completely unnecessary in this style (highly mobile muta/hydra). They don't even deal that well with the main problem (storm). Artosis already mentioned defilers but I wonder if guardians wouldn't also be strong here. Take all those 10% Hp mutas and park them on some highground. Force Soma to use storms on individual guardians or to build more corsairs while your hydras tear down expansions.

I've always wished 2v2 weren't removed from the proleague. Or at least, I wish they had had individual tournaments (where pairs of players enter, rather than single players or whole teams). 2v2 was pretty cool to watch, and it just vanished completely.
Honest strategy question: Since protoss are getting armor to help high templar survive mutas, would it make sense for zergs to get plus one air attack? That's the cost of one muta, right? Does it usually not make sense if zergs aren't making more mutas?
I think in the right situation, it is worth it. If you're just making enough mutas to harass the probes, then with +1 attack vs +2 armor and 0 shields, you can 5-shot a probe instead of 6-shotting it. But since you usually have way more mutas than that, I'm not sure how much it helps. Surely it would speed it up a little when you just park the mutas over a probe line, but that rarely happens. +1 attack is probably worth it anyway to kill other units, but not probes so much. If the zerg had known well in advance that he would get a bunch of corsair kills and switch back into mutas, he would have gotten it.
Really the beauty of Brood War: you have too much to do, so you have to prioritise. The Terran that one day have spare APM enough to repair his Vessels will be a Starleauge Champion.
It's just a mistake. Bisu sent the probe transfer at a moment when he thought they could get through, then he didn't stop them soon enough when he realized it wouldn't work. You can see he did turn them around, but it was too late. You could just as easily make a mistake like that with a shuttle full of probes, especially since there were so many scourge this game. And that would cost an extra 200 minerals, 2 psi, and way more actions. And you could only shuttle 8 probes at a time.
i try not to check video length and its fun not knowing if its going to be an 8 min game or 30. just one game a day and you get the same sorta excitement you would in an asl match where maybe someone could just get cheesed out or whatever.. lots of sc2 channels got stale only broadcasting macro bo5 series type format.. yes more time with the artosis pitterpatter is nice and admitedly i need at least 15 mins to fall asleep, but these casts are best enjoyed during day and ive found myself enjoying them enough to not waste them as fall-asleep material... thank you for finally seeing your casting as a craft and trying to really refine it on an artistic level instead of treating it as a job where you just fill the air and punch clock like later gsl casts and your stream

Question toward protoss players. Why pylon wall is not used against zerg on expansions. I understand zerglings can enter but it will still be slower and easier to choke out.
@bubblegumtate3384 yes, obvioisly. Bit they will also have to chew past few pylons under cannon fire instead of clearing the cannons directly and having easier and faster time of cleaning the expo. Less time for army to relieve it.

Thats like carrier switch in pvt - carriers are stronger, clearly math shows it, then why some people dont even try to switch into carriers?
To go 3-3 you need hive, so you need queen's nest + hive upgrade. Zerg player here never went to hive tech, most likely because he was afraid of dying to protoss during transition into the hive tech. Artosis is even commenting that the zerg needs to go hive, but likely the zerg was afraid that even despite his large macro lead (which he doesn't know) along with his strong position, one of the easiest ways to lose for zerg is for the protoss to make a big push with their high-upgrade dragoon + HT storm army to just demolish your 4th or 5th expansion while you're trying to build up the hive army. This is called "dying in transition", and you see it a lot in a lot of other RTS's, particularly age of empires (where the weakest part of the transition is when you age up and your army hasn't fully upgraded to the next level, along with a shitty eco). Zerg is running on an information blackout as it is notoriously hard to get intel on what the protoss is doing, and so he decided to go full lair tech and overwhelm the protoss army but obviously got stormed to death.
