This song was playing on the radio when my parents were driving home from the hospital, after my sister had died after 3 months in a coma, nearly 50 years ago. It has always been a special song to our family and this version is so beautiful and the tears are rolling!!! Thank you for sharing your gift.
My Dad died when I was 5. I’m now 69 and have missed him every day of my life. It drove me to addition which I’m battling. Seeing you and your Dad makes me so happy. The way he looks at you with undeniable love and respect for you and your glorious voice. You have your whole life ahead of you. Enjoy it. You more than deserve all the goodness there is.
This is crazy. I was also thinking in the first 60 seconds of this video of my Dad (he died 2017). I met Jesus and him in my memory, his presence 16 days ago, when I was very ill but didn´t know it. 4 years I was unable to feel anything after his death. He helped me to overcome the following 50 hours (deciding over live and death). All was terrible cold to me - each doctor, sister, red-cross-team - Nancy, are you sure, that your Dad didn´t help you from heaven when you are in danger etc. ? I´m very surprised, that our dead relatives are so very near to us - but we can´t feel it all the time. If I would talk about it what I experienced everybody would say: "Yes, you had halluzinations."
In a world filled with corruption, violence, grotesque evil and immorality, to find such a lovely father and daughter duet, is refreshing to my old soul of 73 years. Never, never lose your zeal for righteousness and the desire to glorify God with your beautiful voices and personalities. God bless you!
The musical Talent between them is undeniable. And so it's easy to miss the most special part, which is Mat and his wife raised a daughter who, despite being right in the middle of what could be the turbulent teens, doesn't hate her parents, she isn't out twerking, and she clearly is not embarrassed to be seen singing with her father. I don't know if people appreciate how special and rare this is today. And it's a strong testimony to character, not only on the part of Mat and his wife - but also a compliment to you Savannah. Those special times will never be forgotten. There is nothing like being bonded together as a family by music and singing together. Sometimes we'd forgot the clock and would sing til 3:00 am! I loved every minute of it! My wonderful daddy passed away when I was 13, but he taught me so much in those few short years we had together. Oh wow. This song is one of my all time favorites. When I was only about 5 or 6 I remember being super excited about something and threw the car door open before my mom had come to a complete stop. The door smashed into the wall of our brick house. It broke a chunk off the wall and destroyed the car door. I was devastated and ran to my room sobbing. To comfort me my mom brought a 45 record of this song and played it on my little kids record player while she rubbed my back. I will never forget her mercy that day and I remember it every time I hear this song.

Bridge Over Troubled Water was sung at my 18 year old sister’s funeral by one of her classmates. She did a beautiful job and to this day I wonder how she got through the song. This old guy has been totally loving all your music from Day One, and this one really hit all the "feels" because at my age, it was very special to me. I'd say it's still one of my top 10 all-time songs. I don't know who did this arrangement, with its slight timing and melodic differences, but it's stunning, yet also not a betrayal of the original. The way y'all sing seems so effortless and yet so well-prepared at the same time; it's just magical. With your beautiful tone, you have brightened these pandemic days more than you can imagine for so many people. Keep it up.

Bridge Over Troubled Water was sung at my 18 year old sister’s funeral by one of her classmates. She did a beautiful job and to this day I wonder how she got through the song. Even though hearing the song brings memories of that heartbreaking time, it still brings peace to my heart. Now you are a part of the peace I seek daily. This old guy has been totally loving all your music from Day One, and this one really hit all the "feels" because at my age, it was very special to me. I'd say it's still one of my top 10 all-time songs. I don't know who did this arrangement, with its slight timing and melodic differences, but it's stunning, yet also not a betrayal of the original. The way y'all sing seems so effortless and yet so well-prepared at the same time; it's just magical. Wow!!!! Both have great voices. The daughter is a soprano and Dad is a tenor. Complimented each other very well with great hamony.
