The Confederacy began to suffer a decline militarily from the loss of Jackson

The casualties at Chancellorsville within the Confederate officer corps were staggering.
The army that went to Gettysburg was not the army that fought at Chancellorsville.

The simple truth was the Confederate Army was being bled white, the CSA were never going to win ,a little reality in 2024 it became a war of attrition after Chancellorsville ,mattered little in the West either the CSA was being strangled, the noose was tightening, the only hope they had was to call a truce in December 1862 ,the problem was in Washington, dealing with the South meant only one thing retribution of a terrible kind, the mistake made over 60 years later post WWI allowing the Germans to believe the didn't get whooped, took 80 million more deaths to put that right...yes I'm harsh in my opinion but a dose of reality is needed.

If he had been in Getysburg, things probably would have been different.

The South might’ve have won the war in Virginia if Jackson hadn’t been killed
