Hello 🖐 That's great! I will but honestly I had been there a couple of years ago and the food wasn't that great to me. I'm sure there's something on the menu I can find to eat.
I love your vids. Takes me back to when I was little living on Oahu and part time on the Big Island!! How I miss the food!! They sure have added a variety to the menu.

The pork hash reminds me of when I was a youngster. Chinese men used to go around town carrying 2round metal bins, one on each end of pole that was perfectly balanced on their shoulders. Aloha, just wanted to put my 2 cents in here in regards to your vlogs. I've always admired how you keep it real with your food reviews and for me personally, I'm watching your vlogs to listen to you and hear what you have to say about the food you purchase and are going to eat. I actually think you doing it with the original background/windows in your home adds to the charm of your vlogs as well. But this is my opinion. No matter what, you have great vlogs that are very informative about food you purchase on the island and I've learned a lot about places I would have never heard of otherwise. Another great vlog. Hey who cares about your background - food is the focus here and not home decorating. Good thing, they didn't ask you to kill the chirping of birds in the background. Keep up the good work!
The question is..is it really meat? Do the Hawaii 7-Elevens have small tables and chairs for customers to use, like in the Philippines? Or is everything all take out? 🤙🏾. Ube is purple yam, and is delicious the way Filipinos make it. The word comes from the word uvas, meaning grapes (the purple ones) and evolved into uve, or ube, since Tagalog dialect doesn’t have the v letter.
Good question LOL. I'm sure it is. The 7-Elevens are not like the Philippines, Korea, Taiwan, or Japan. There is no eating area. It is a grab and go and everyone eats it at home or work. It is quite busy during lunch time on a work day.
I remember when the pho bowl came out and I always wondered how the soup just appears when you microwave it, I guess I should’ve known since I already knew that pho broth is gelatin like when it’s cold. I always assumed the broth was just coated onto the cold noodles and the heat released the broth or something like that. Also yes, the ube cookies are amazing. I live mainland now but am about to move back to Oahu, and I can say with absolute confidence that 711 out here is DEFINITELY inferior to 711 in Hawaii. Mainland 711 is comparable to a gas station convenience store, but just shittier. They have the pizza, taquitos, and hot dogs, but they’re usually less well kept than gas station food marts here. I noticed that since I’ve moved to the mainland, I preferred to go to Circle K or QuikTrip (maybe even Speedway or Chevron) over going to 711 here. In Hawaii I would almost always go to 711 for a quick bite to eat, rather than the gas station, since gas station was usually more sketchy on the inside, and didn’t have as much selection as 711 did. 711 in Hawaii is definitely way cleaner than most 711s I’ve been to on mainland.
Thanks for watching! Yes, we are so lucky to have such a selection at our 7-11s and you're right, they are very clean compared to other gas station convenience stores in the mainland. Hope your move back goes well! 🤙

Yes now it's about $1.05 each. I haven't been in so long. I used to go everyday for something to snack on at work. Now I don't really get a chance to go outside of the office so I bring home lunch.
What's wrong with rubbery hotdogs, dry taquitos, or soggy pizza? 🤣 Man, even your 7-11's are better than ours. Regarding the green screen - Nah, no need. 🤙
@@FoodFiend I'd much rather have a Spam musubi, loco moco plate, or bowl of pho. You guys are so lucky. Thank you for the video. I've never stopped at a 7-11 in Hawaii. I thought they were junk like ours. I only go there for Lotto.
Aw that sucks. I did walk into one recently in LA and yes quite small with old pizza under the heat lamp. Our 7-11's in Hawaii are owned by Japan so maybe that's why there's so many things to eat.
Yes. Hopefully it will change one day. I think it would be awesome if each state concentrated on good 7-11 foods in their area of cuisine. Like lobster rolls in New England, Mexican in Cali and Texas, etc.
OMG 711s in Maine COULD NEVER 🤣 When I'm visiting family I hit up the local 711 for musubis, Dynamite shrimp rolls pork hash and so many other snacks. Relentlessly 🥹.
Thank you for sharing your vlog at 7-11.
However, the background is too dark. Your background in your home doesn't bother me. Enjoy YOU! 🌺🤙🏼
Mahalo!
When you said pork hash 79 cents I said wow Oahu 7/11 cheaper than kauai then I realized this video was 2years ago🙃recently my go to its the Portuguese sausage scramble eggs burrito killa🌺🤙🌺also the lawai 7/11 is the only store that sells the old matsura store manju👍
🤣 I guess once in a while when you're drunk and hungry, those rubbery hot dogs hit the spot.
@@FoodFiend I'd much rather have a Spam musubi, loco moco plate, or bowl of pho. You guys are so lucky. Thank you for the video. I've never stopped at a 7-11 in Hawaii. I thought they were junk like ours. I only go there for Lotto.
In the Midwest our 7-11's are a joke, they have very little in them, while Japan's 7-11's are amazing, and Hawaii's look excellent as well
Aw that sucks. I did walk into one recently in LA and yes quite small with old pizza under the heat lamp. Our 7-11's in Hawaii are owned by Japan so maybe that's why there's so many things to eat.
I do miss the 7-11 in Hawaii, the 7-11 here in the states are boring.
Yes. Hopefully it will change one day. I think it would be awesome if each state concentrated on good 7-11 foods in their area of cuisine. Like lobster rolls in New England, Mexican in Cali and Texas, etc.
I watch your vlogs to see where, what and your reviews. Not your background.
Thank you! Much easier for me to just press the record button and eat instead of setting up all the equipment. 🤣
I liked your background, not digging this new one.
Gotcha! Reverting back to the old one next week.
7-11 Oregon sucks. You literally don't buy food there. Just got back from Hawaii. Not the same company, just name
Yeah the 7-11 Hawaii is owned by the same people that own the ones in Japan. That's why it's similar to the Asian 7-11s in terms of food
OMG 711s in Maine COULD NEVER 🤣 When I'm visiting family I hit up the local 711 for musubis, Dynamite shrimp rolls pork hash and so many other snacks. Relentlessly 🥹. It's so good. 🔥 mahalos for the video. I can't wait to come home if for nothing else the food! 🥹 Thanks for the video, love watching them!!!
Yes we are so lucky! The 711s in thr mainland are weak. Since you're up that way I remember just Cumberland Farms and Dunks. 🤣
