My wife does a very good impression of a puffin call. 😊 We have a huge colony on Skomer island just a few miles from us here in Wales. Very entertaining little birds. We don't have hides (on the island) but the birds are very tolerant of visitors and are extremely approachable.
You had a limited amount of good shots. I found your presentation and video extremely boring. You spent very little time, sticking to your theme/topic. I got zero tips on how to photograph Atlantic Puffins.
Hey Doug! It's great to see you uploading so much new content here. Your videos are among the very best in the wildlife photography genre.
Wow, thanks!
It’s just wonderful having you on UA-cam…been a fan for years. Best wildlife photography videos.
Wow, thank you!
I want to go there.
Wonderful stuff there Doug! Thanks so much!...
Glad you enjoyed it
So pretty . I had a hard time understanding your camera settings for this bright day with the contrast . Would you mind sharing it? Thank you
Thank you for bringing me along on another great adventure! Always love the teaching points!
Our pleasure!
Thank you for the upload, Doug!!.
My pleasure
Nice one. We have a few days booked for this coming July but from the Canadian side. The US lottery sold out for the whole season within 20 minutes! 🤔
Have fun!
I got my ticket. Doing the same exact thing here. I'm just wondering how he got to go so early since I didn't think they started tours yet.
Hya ..awesome place and hideout ..to photograph these beauties..can you please let me the name of the island in Maine?
Machias Seal Island and I used Bold Coast Outfitters as a guide.

Skomer has to be the best place for puffins!
Awesome
love you videos and this is on my bucket list. between a 70-200 and 180-600. which would you take?
Without question I’d take the 180-600 for most wildlife.
Which brand of ND filters & filter holder are you using? We're going to Machias in August.
Hope video shorter
For benefit
Thanks
