There is genius in every choice this cameraman made. He perfectly mimicked the transient nature of the musicians here and the flowing movement vibe they had. It really brings us in as the viewer. Kudos to him, unsung hero of this video’s overall brilliance. The music is just, I mean... 🙌🏻..let's not forget the cameraman is playing his camera too.

Your beautiful and particular eye caught what many won’t care to mention. I am obsessed with every video MEUTE puts out not only musically but visually as well. They capture raw emotions of the crowd and band in every second. Tears fill my eyes every single time. For good reason, as you’ve mentioned.

I was in marching band (and an award-winning one at that), and we'd never be caught dead having fun like these guys, but what I think gets lost on folks is that these guys CAN PLAY. There is some damn good stuff coming from them.

@@digitalparadigms It turns out, though, that none of the music heard in MEUTE videos is 'live'. What we hear is edited footage to include studio music. I'm not cool with that. Talented group, but I don't appreciate deception in any form.
@@atlantic_love Yes I'm aware. It's a composite. I do wish that they added that disclaimer from the beginning. It has to do with the logistics of live mic'ing every instrument as well as the crowd. So I understand why they went this route. Thanks for your input. :)
@@digitalparadigms Oh I totally get you on why they went that route, but like you I'm disappointed that they're being disengenous. They're misleading people into thinking they're seeing/hearing something that's not what they thought they were getting. I'm very sensitive to dishonesty :(

Always blows me away to see such clarity in an outdoor performance. Every player is at just the right level to not only balance each other out but also project outdoors to a surrounding audience. How was the only thing to peak the microphone THE BLOODY SINGER?????? It's just crazy given what the rest of the band is doing that this guy can put so much emotion into it that he can just scream louder than everyone else. Gotta love this band, I'm devastated I couldn't see them in Australia please please please come again soon!

The buildup 2:30 to that cinematic climax 3:40, when the singer goes out of the camera's focus for a moment as he leans back and cries to heaven, is so raw and pure. Love it!

I am from Chicago and this is the best version of this song that I’ve heard. I agree with you both mixing big band with House was incredible and the singer was the icing on the cake. Oh my God the words just resonated through my body. This is a house staple. You always hear this song at parties, but when he sang it the lyrics hit differently. Just saw these guys at BottleRock in Napa. Holy crap! As good as they sound on the computer or stereo they are absolutely mind blowing live - so freakin good! This song crushed it but all of them were amazing. You can't help but dance. Hoping they're back in the states again soon.
