Me too, but it is a little bit boring that the reactors react 99% to soothsayer

I love 'Polar Trench', 'The Light In The Fog', and my favorite, 'For Mom'. Thanks, I enjoyed this studio recording reaction and song very much.

Saw him perform in a small club about 100 people 15 years ago. Just his backing track and him. Was amazing.

@harrisonwalker105 project little man, how the hell did I forget that lol, you're right, so many good stuff, this guy is so underrated, nobody else can come up with so many epic solo tracks that rip the shit like that, not just a shredder, a melodic shredder, to me buckethead is definitely the best by far, best player/composer

He is using a wah wah pedal which is a pedal controlled band pass filter. It can give a slight "talkative" quality to the sound while sweeping through the frequencies, "closing" and "opening" the sound.

  • @HellBatDC
    @HellBatDC Місяць тому

For the odd sounding liquid pitch swings you were asking about, I believe he's using a digitech whammy pedal. If not that some similar pitch shifting device controlled by a foot pedal.

The band IMMINENCE with one of these songs or all the songs. These are new songs that don’t have a music video to them.
These are visualizers for the new album “The Black.” All of these songs are amazing….
    1. “Beyond the Pale”
    2. “The Call of the Void”
    3. “Come What May”
    4. “The Black”
From Sweden and singer plays violin while singing and screaming. These are four songs that are on the storyline and our visualizers by themselves.
They are amazing songs so if you feel free pick one or if you want more pick all of them.

Yeah, bucketheads a little bit of a freak in my book. Insanely skilled and he has over 400 albums of music. I'm subscribed to him and sometimes it's an album 30 minutes long every 3 days. And it's amazing music. I've never really been fond of soothsayer, but Groves is a really cool tune as far as music texture goes. No solos but it's still amazing nonetheless.

I’ve seen him 3 times all were at small clubs 350 or so max.. those buckethead shows were worth 3x the ticket price. There’s nobody quite like him and there will never be again

I really appreciate your reaction. You clearly know your stuff, but also have your own taste. Many of the commenters here are correct about seeing him play Soothsayer live. The link below if for the live version that they are talking about. It takes a different path than the studio version. Amazing to see the skills. Just fantastic.

He probably just wants to be heard! :D
I get that sometimes we want to connect to the artist, but we can also do this with Buckethead through his live presentations - also, with the kindness we hear from those that know him personally.
Sometimes, just the music and a few interviews are enough! (he probably doesn't want to be a superstar, just something for someone with his music) :D
