I live in Mcalester oklahoma, and I am really concerned about nighttime tornadoes! Those are the worst because you can't see where they are!😮
That is very scary. I hope you stay safe. If you have a basement (or have a friend/relative who does), it might be wise to sleep there tonight.
It's usually raining and you can't see him anyway weather radar can see. So look at zoom radar and learn to use all the buttons. When the weather men are at home on Sunday the weather is radar is automated.
The whole state is cloudy. And the tops of those clouds are being bathed in hot sunlight while the ground is cold. This difference in energy will try to equalize itself and generate thunderstorms.
My family is there also prayers for you.
You should have a warning system like sirens in McAlester.. I am rural and have no warning system. 🥺
Seriously if you lived in the that area.....wouldnt it just be more simple to plan to sleep in storm shelter when going to bed

Yeah I live in Oklahoma and my moms work was hit with a tornado, they had people coming in injured and panicking. She came home and the tornado hit her house and moved everything around and debris all over and everyone in that town lost there house but her. She told me you don't know what it's like going to work and coming home and you house been hit by a tornado. She said the gas station ain't even standing no more. Looks like we have more bad weather coming in

What town in Oklahoma?
the biggest tornado outbreak was May 3rd, 1999 and the last EF5 was May 20, 2013 _Moore, Ok suffered through both of those years

As someone who has studied weather specifically tornadoes, I have never been so confident that we could see the first EF5 tornado that we have seen in over 11 years!
Remember, a tornado actually has to hit lots of things to be rated that high
please never say something like this, if you're at all in the weather community you should already understand why

I live in Moore, Oklahoma and I’m terrified! We’ve been hit by huge tornadoes twice and I’m just worried it’s going to happen again!
I’m staying in Mustang Oklahoma. I have no cellar. What are your thoughts and recommendations? I’ve only been in OK for two weeks.
When I hear Moore, El Reno, and Norman, I always think of the monster tornadoes they experienced. I hope you and your family/friends/neighbors will be safe.
@@justf7288See if there is some kind of public storm shelter that you can go to. Make a plan of action now so you're not scrambling if you have to take cover. If you end up sheltering in your house, lay in the bathtub with a mattress or some pillows and blankets over you to protect yourself from debris. Be sure to wear shoes too, so you're not walking around barefoot on broken glass and other debris if your home does sustain a direct hit.

down in texas near abilene a tornadoe injured a family, thankfully they survived, one of the tornadoe chasers rescued them.
Please rescue the bob cats, stray cats , kittens, dogs and puppies , urgently.

How about Sulpher , OK it was a total wipeout , severe flooding in NE Houston. Wow 🇺🇸is having a hard time 24 minutes on the ground for a tornado is frightening. Prayers for all those caught in the path.
