    I've watched about 60 of your vids so far, has helped zone out and relax when life has been too stressful. Decided to go back to the start so I don't miss any. Thanks for all the content!

    Hey man,I am new to the game of hammock camping or maybe I should say camping on overall :D But for as long as I found your channel I am trying to watch and learn from you because on my humble opinion you are the best out there! Just few weeks ago I started to gear up with my GF (65 litres backpacks,hammock,quilts,sleeping bags etc.) And we are now ready to actually go and to this mainly thanks to your vids and inspiration ! Hope you actally notice this comment so you know how thankfull I am to you.Greetings from Slovakia (central EU).And I am actually pretty jealous because of all the free roam you got up there in all mighty Canada.We will need to go little bit more stealth in here :D Thanks again and wish you luck out there !

    That looks so cozy, I dont think you wanted to get out if there. I love the running commentary in the older videos. As someone else mentioned you have a very good voice to listen to.

    Hoping this is your first video. I just watched one you posted a few days ago. It was close to an hour long, but I got hooked and before I knew it, it was over. The photography was amazing. You and Boomer were in a snowstorm next to a Freshwater Lake. Your Thule truck tent set up is very cool!
    As a former history teacher, I like to do things in a chronological order.
    So as I said, hoping this is your first video.
    Your newest subscriber looking forward to enjoying more of your adventures.

    I have to tell you wolf, I’m kinda addicted to your video’s. I just recently starting watching, so till now it’s the more recent ones, until last night, I watched your first one. You have really refined your video’s and your delivery, good job. An interesting observation: I detect more of an East coast accent in this one, more than I do in your more recent…. Haha it’s true…. Peace out…Mike

    Do you not find you get shoulder compression? I like hammock camping and have used my hammock probably 5 or 6 times now but I still haven't perfected it, I'm a side sleeper and move a lot in the night but find when on my back my shoulders are compressed. Great viddy. Lee

    • @Lonewolfwildcamping
      @Lonewolfwildcamping  5 років тому +1

      Actually I sleep mainly on my side with this setup but when im on my back I don't have any shoulder compression at all. it takes a lot of time and practice to master the hammock I find so stay at it and you will find comfort.

      @@BurtonOutdoors That's a symptom of a single and short hammock. If you get a double 11 footer that should solve that problem. It's very hard to get a diagonal lay with an 8 foot hammock.

  • @hermit6208
    @hermit6208 4 роки тому +2

    Cool. I like your pod solution. Although I think I would prefer a top quilt. Or actually because I'm a broke ass, I would just take a sleeping bag and unzip it all the way down and stick my feet into the foot box. I bought a hammock a while back and I am a side sleeper and I just can't quite get a comfortable lay. I like your mods though. I've got a snugpak underblanket and I'm trying to figure out a good way to replace the synthetic with down and not ruin the damn thing.
