Engraving Curved Surfaces: Bolt Plus

In this video I am engraving a dough bowl with the Bolt Plus. This can be done with all the Bolt Series machines. I decided to use the 2.5” lens/mount on the 2” plate so that I could gain a little extra clearance.

Are extra plates available to make it quicker to swap lenses?

No we do not currently have plates for sell separate from the lens/mount.

Cab you buy the lens already swapped or do you have spend $400 to buy both lenses?

All of the lens kits are prepackaged with the proper lens/plate. You would need to buy both to do what I did in this video. Like I mentioned in the video, you may be able to get away with just using the 4" lens, but I have not tested that.

Can you engrave on the outside curved rim of a wood salad or cereal bowl… possibly using a rotary like the PiBurn Grip or RotoBoss Talon?
