we had a 1640 with 245 loader, was the frontline tractor for 11 years, what a beast.
Mick's face 'Guide it in" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Dilly Dilly
The lifting things are called lifting clutches we use them all the time doing the work we do for concrete companies
Dad had 2140’s in 2wd for a few years on muck spreading with Howard side discharge spreaders until he upgraded to two 3040 4wd with 2 Bonhill 10t spreaders. They were fantastic tractors and never had a spanner on them. One of the 3040’s had done over 7k hrs without having anything on the link arms. Great video Joe as always! 💪🏻👍🏻
Great videos from poland 547 kgs of grain screenings in trailer
Those 40 and 50/55 series will still be around in 50 years. Absolute bombproof machines. I wish i still had my 3140.
True Us built ones are better than german built tractors and the German built ones are better if you put a high output hydraulic pump on them and the 3640/50 was a better tractor than the 3140/3350
Great video Joe
1450kg on the trailer. Feed troughs look good
4,060 KGS MY GUESS GREAT VID JOE .
Evening Joe I used to drive a little vintage John Deere but don't know it's engine size due to decals missing.
Yay, straw party time! I just love the way the cattle bounce around like they are at a bovine disco when you spread the straw. 👌. JD Mick's 1640 tips better than TP's little Case on the muck cart. 🤔. Fair play though it had enough ponies to be a proper little mud plugger and get out of the field but if the ruts were any deeper he could have laid drainage pipes.🤣.
Happy to see your home Joe, loved ur holiday stuff it was awesome, the concrete troughs look Smart it makes the farm look good.💪👍
We had a W plate 1640 with the square cab as our main tractor - could just squeeze it between the rows in the hop gardens for spraying
Always enjoy seeing John Deere Mick visiting, any chance you could do a tour of his farm one day.
Before i left school in the 80s i used to drive a 2020 rolling
Great video Joe 2.3 ton in the trailer
1146kg on the trailer,great video
647kilos I reckon joe , enjoy your videos , Poland is away ahead of us pheasant farmers now 👍
Looks around 1127 kgs and that's a very tidy 1640 mick has and still a useful tractor for some little jobs
A friend of mine has a JD 1640 still in active use on his farm. Bought new by his dad. Doesn't have the flowery seatcover though 😅
thought l was king of the castle, with a brand new 1640, used to do everything with it, but it wasn't long before we went bigger again, 2850, then 3050 and onwards. But the 1640 did a lot of hard work.
Great concrete troughs but only trouble is that you have to fork out any waste 😢
1640 a great little pony very capable in its day, do still love a SG cab , nearest I drove to a 16 was a 2040. Your pile of barley screenings I think were 801kgs.
I used to drive a 2850 2wd for years
846kg in the trailer 😊
I see big Mick not waterproof ! Made me chuckle, JD mick tractor a credit to him, hope you clean your boots b4 climbing in, great blog thanks for info from Poland
Hey mate hope you and all the family and team are well. I’d say about 2500
You seem to be in awe of the prices they get in Poland, but the capital expenditure they are putting in big machinery custom designed buildings and high levels of automation coupled with probably high land prices, I suspect cuts down the margins they make, and its all about the margins, it would be interesting to compare what it looked like in the early nineties when the wall came down to the big agri businesses you have been looking at, at you say BUSINESS.
1743 kg in the trailer

Hey Joe, how come Mick doesn't do any tractoring ? I thought he was a top driver? 😅
1.6 tonne
Why not use the mixer wagon save time you have it use it properly 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤦♂️
I dont think that your test on the lights was done correctly. You should have switched the lights off, then walked back the desired distance and then switched them on to see if the light unit picked up the on/off signal.
