I think using the tripod worked great. Maybe look at a gimbal mount for the tripod in the future to give you even better results. It's great watching the farm grow over time. I can remember the old farm before they moved it to the current place to make way for the housing estate. That's going back some years haha. Onwards and upwards is the way to go mate. In regards to the kabelco, I wouldn't bother getting a newer one for the use it gets. Maybe look at upgrading other equipment first that gets used on a more regular basis
