Hatze is my PoT main. The utter FEAR it strikes into other players just by landing next to them gets me every time. I do agree that the neck feels a little too noodley though
When I think of my favourite Pterosaur designs in media, I think of; Primeval’s Pteranodon longiceps Walking with Dinosaurs’ Tropeognathus Flying Monsters’ Tapajara Jurassic World’s Quetzalcoatlus Prehistoric Planet’s Hatzegopteryx would also be in there.
@@Jojozilla426 It’s true, aside from being way too big & lacking fluff, it’s probably still the best reconstruction of Pteranodon in media & kind of out of place compared to the rest of show’s designs lol. Don’t even get me started on the horrible Pteranodon design in New World.
From what I heard, Tethyshadros and Hatzegopteryx didn't live at the same time. Tethyshadros lived around 80 million years ago during the Campanian stage of the Late Cretaceous whereas Hatzegopteryx lived in the last few million years of the Late Cretaceous. But this info came out during production of Season 2 of Prehistoric Planet, so there wasn't anything the producers could do about that. A really good scene, but it does have an inaccuracy that wasn't known till after production. Not that I myself care about accuracy/inaccuracy but figured I'd just mention that.
Hatzegopteryx is my favorite pterosaur, the Path of titans hatzegopteryx (allthough its my main) i think is horrible. 1.The nose is in the wrong spot 2. Its missing the pteroid bone 3. The neck is to ... How do i say it? Wobbely ? Wiggely? Azhdarchids had fairly stiff necks but pot hatzegopteryx walks around like a chicken always bobbing its head. 4. The feathers are bird feathers, i like that they addeed feathers since pterosaurs did have their own version of feathers but pot hatzegopteryx has flight feathers from a bird on its back for some reason Edit: I forgot to mention that the wings are in the wrong Position when fying, the flying pose for an azhdarchid pterosaur would be more like an X rather than a T pose due to weight shift.
@@MAKATOONY, No, that privilege goes to Quetzalcoatlus. Hatzegopteryx is slightly smaller than Quetzalcoatlus, so it’s the second largest pterosaur in the world.
Since we're doing pterosaurs too you think we can get tapejara/tapejaraids one? Not only are they my favorite group if pterosaurs but I feel like that would make for a interesting video much like this one
So weird seeing this one before either Pteranodon or Dimorphodon. I remember when in public perception, there were just these two pterosaurs represented - basically "the big one" and "the old one". Then Quetzalcoatlus got into the mix as the giant one. Sometimes we saw Geosternbergia, when it was still considered a Pteranodon species. Pterosaur representations has come such a long way!
i cant wait for another allosauroid or carcharodontosaurid to come up in this series, all tho this would be very hard to track down, when is the last time you seen a concavonator in any documentary?

Did you hear that Disney, through D23, had announced that they’re going to close down and get rid of Dinosaur ride and Dinoland USA in Animal Kingdom and be replaced by Indiana Jones attraction? 😢
Yes, I am very sad about it. My wife and I rode the ride a few years ago and loved it. We were hoping to take our daughter when she was old enough. Guess not haha
Quetz : who are you ?
Hatz : i'm you but European
And bigger and more robust......
Hatz confirms, “I… am the most massive creature to ever fly…”
And better
And slightly smaller than you, but a bit more robust and heavier than you.

By “smaller,” you mean “shorter in height,” right?
Personally I would love the next poll to feature no non-avian dinosaurs like Titanoboa, Beelzebufo, Thylacoleo and Edaphosaurus
Love the edaphossaurus
That would be nice
Are there really any interpretations of those for a full video
There was a snake bigger than Titanoboa. From Australia, known as “Wonambi.” ExtinctZoo has some good videos, check him out.

I definitely love the "Prehistoric Planet" version of this animal, especially for the mating scene and the colors on the male's beak and crest.

Yes yes yes my favorite prehistoric creature
I think your name explain everything😂
Edit: Love this animal aswell❤
Nice opinion
I SAW THIS IS CLICKED IMMEDIATELY!!!! I LOVE HATZEGOPTERYX!!!!!
Based
John Hurt: “This is Hatzegopteryx.”
David Attenborough: “Hatzegopteryx.”
Glad to see that finally my country's unarguably most iconic prehistoric creature gets a video in this series .
☺️
Planet Dinosaur also introduced me to Hatzgopteryx, join the club. This son of a gun needs more interpretations, ITS THE BIGGEST FLYING ANIMAL EVER!
I've seen a lot of love for Azhdarchid Pterosaurs which is great since they are such fantastic creatures.
Such freaking cool animal❤
Some Interpretation of Hazegopteryx also the head shape

I mainly only learned of this due to how common it was to catch in Jurassic World Alive
