Thank you for this comparison!
Glad it was helpful!
Just got the minicmit for A1 and k3m. Really awesome combo and the profile is much smaller compared to mke600 which I had. I will do some tests with zoom f6 on a boom pole but very happy with initial use up close. Love your videos especially when you say "short shotgun".
It’s a significant upgrade from mke600 and much lighter and smaller to boot!
Thank you for any useful information.
Maybe you can also add to your comparison the 2 Sanken mics (Short and Long): Sanken CS-3e and Sanken CS-M1.
I’m looking to do that one day. But I’m not close with the local retailer and there’s no ready stock
thank you
You're welcome
Any test on MKH 50?
Hi, Can i ask you which solution are you using for noise removal in the post? Thanks.
I don’t. My room is sound treated
@@ZPProductions Wow, i have an air purifier in the room and tried C-Suite C-Vox (UAD Plugin) which is very successful but its expensive and can't find any alternative. Thank you =)
@@safakaan the trick is to have the mic rather close as you see, around 6 inches away. then then make sure no hard flat
surface within 50cm around you and the mic and it will be quite clean. my table has foam on top.
@@ZPProductions Thank you for your help sir.
Wow. Cannot hear any difference between the mics.
You must be listening on a phone.
So basically its NOT worth 2x the price of the 416 lol
The minicmit has its purpose and technically if you like the cmit type of sound, it’s still the mic for you.
I didn’t cover it here but as a boom mic, the minicmit is a whole lot better though. It’s probably the smallest mic with a very aggressive Low pass and have a proper shotgun pick up.
With the CMITyou can record instruments in studio quality aswell whereas the MKH416 merely is an outdoor boom mic.
@@brainpope6660 what about the sennheiser mkh 8050?
@@brainpope6660 Thats true. The CMIT5U full frequency response is actually well suited for instrumental and vocal capture. The MKH416 is a little too flavoured for it.
Can you make a video about
Bast camera for cosplay photographer for beginners?
And your video ❤🔥🔥
Maybe in the near future
Brilliant comparison test. Thank you for sharing. I'm about to pull the trigger on a Mini Cmit myself. This has been reassuring. Although I have been mostly looking for comparisons between it and the MKH50.
@@anthonyegan1205 I have a few video on minicmit so do catch it haha. My copy is currently with a friend of mine and he loaned me his 4017b for test
