@@Jostanos Well, I doubt this will happen. If it is, it's bigger than anything else. See getting anything into the DQ series is (probably) bigger than getting something into FF7R. If you've been around SE and Dragon Quest its fanbase and the stories behind the scenes, you'd know WHY DQ is such an insane deal. To be frank, without DQ, FF wouldnt exist.
I hope they remake or port all the old DQ games to the Switch. I'm sad that the best versions of most of them are on the 3DS and I can't play them on the TV.
The tower defence dragon quest game was messed up. But yeah generally speaking every single console physical release with Dragon Quest in the name has either been at best fantastic or at worst "just good". Dragon Warrior Monsters GBC is much harder to go back to now a days though.

As a long time Dragon Quest fan... _OMG OMG OMG THANK YOU!_ Seriously, the first JRPG I played was the first Dragon Quest on NES (here in the states, Dragon Warrior). It's a simple, but solid game that I still fondly remember to this day. Heck, I've done some Glitchless speedruns on my own (PB = 2:48:00~ish) on the GBC version. To say I like the series is a bit of an understatement.
Came back here after they played this in Tokyo Olympics opening ceremony. Jules is ahead of his time! It really is so iconic as the JRPG national anthem
Such a wonderfully musically complex overture. I love all the mode mixture it contains and how it uses that to still sounds so happy and heroic! Good to see this song get the full Jules treatment!

I think I have to personally thank you on here. It's so rare to see and hear of anybody enjoying Dragon Quest music in America (mostly due to the game nit being 'as' popular as it is in Japan). I grew up with Dragon Quest and it's fantastic music (I've listened to the Symphonic Suites more time than I care to admit!) and seeing you post this brings such incredible joy to my heart and it's a little overwhelming. Every JRPG fan at least needs to play one of the many Dragon Quest games from the main series. Having played DQ4, 5, 6, 8 and 9 on my DS and 3DS versions, I consider myself lucky to have that many considering how few there were available in PAL region back in their original releases. These days on the Nintendo DS, 3DS as well as on the Switch and of course the PS2 version of Dragon Quest 8, there is no excuse now.
Loving the D&D shirt, especially as a fan of Dragon Quest, I have appreciation for the roots it comes from (which in turn are thanks to Tabletop RPG's like D&D).

Probably won't work. If I had to guess, the mechanics of Kamikaze trades one of the User's stocks (or -1 point in a time match) to deal a lot of damage to the opponent. Possibly enough for a KO, but it's an exchange that costs more to the user. The only way such a move can be to the user's benefit is if they keep an advantage over the opponent, where the cost of the move is offset by winning the match. tldr it probably isn't as busted as you think it is, it's probably just high risk/high reward kind of attack
I'm not a huge Dragon Quest fan, but I have a lot of respect for the series. Especially since without it we may not have had many of the great JRPGs we've had over the years. Great job as always picking out great songs!

Loved Dragon Quest Builders 1, absolutely adored the sequel and sank over 30 hours into it, and now I'm looking forward to trying out the main series with the Dragon Quest game coming out for the switch. I wish I got into this series sooner because it looks like it's got a lot of good stuff in it.

You should absolutely play Dragom Quest 11, 8, 6, 5 and 4. And the best multiplayer game ever Dragon Quest 9 if you didn't have played it.
