I enjoy the precision .22 shooting and just discovering these channels. That is a beautiful stock and the gun seems to be rigged out nicely. People that don't shoot for accuracy don't really understand what it's like. I had a fella tell me "his gun was a real shooter, he could hit a quarter at 50 yards". I didn't want to be discouraging so I didn't say anything. lol
I enjoyed your recent clips on sorting and whaticng how well they all shoot. You shoot very well and are a modest man. I sort by weight and find it value for me shooting SK+ for my practice and find enough variation for me to warrant the effort. When I shoot Midas for comps some I find so consistent in weight that I don't bother although I have a batch at the moment that I weigh as its slightly variable but is an accurate batch in my rifle and is serving me well. There are those who don't think its worth the trouble but I'm after every bit of consistency I can squeeze. Keep up the good informative clips
Interesting but I believe there are other differences then Packaging. Lube, Bullet and Powder. I will not confirm or deny that the ammo is made in the same factory. I do want to remind everyone you need to test many different bullets to see what shoots best in your rifle. Thank for the comment.
Hey Bret why did you go back to the bipod from the Caldwell rock? It seems to be the CZ clearly likes the lapua X-Act better then the tennex. I'm not sayin the Lapua is better than Eley just your rifle likes it better. Put the Eley in an Anschutz and its probably going to be money, that's been a winning combination for the 50 + years I've been shooting smallbore. Looking forward to the next video with the pr CZ
For me the bipad is much more stable. The Caldwell when used with a rounded front rifle stock for me is not as stable as a tripad with the cant tightened. I am hoping how ever since the CZ457 VPT stock has a flat front bottom I can use the Caldwell. I'll be testing both for sure. Thanks for the comment.
This good shooting but I have a suggestion if you would shoot the black shoot and see targets I think you would see your group get better but that would be hard too get much better than that you are one heck of a shot I have an at-one 16-1/2 inch barrel I hope it shoots as well as yours but I shoot the black and green better it might be all in my head but you might try it. To truly test ammo correctly you have to clean between each different band of ammo do to different types of lube. If you don't do this it will not be a fair representation of how that ammo shoots in your gun. because of to two mixed lubes in the barrel. By cleaning I mean just 2 wet patches a then 2 dry ones and about 6 to 8 fowling shots of the new ammo to be tested before you shot for score with new ammo. I shoot ARA unlimited and this does a big different in my gun. You may pass up the best best ammo for your gun because of the mixed lubes .
Outdoor Fun, I have to agree with you and shooting the ARA Unlimited match your target is I think 3/8" for full points. Everything counts, one day I may test for the unlimited match when ammo is in plenty supply. I have a Kimber 82G that I a have done pretty well with at least broken 2100, one day I'll do videos with that. One of my goals is to get more people introduced to shooting ARA Factory and hopefully at the end of all the I'll be able to make solid recommendation for folks who may wanted to get started. Thanks a bunch for your comment and I hope to hear more from you in the future. - Bret
Which way of selfdevelopment as shooters should we choose - learning and accomodate themselfes to clumsy CALDWEL ROCK BR, heavy sand bag or shaky bipods ( good old HARRIS or ATLAS with sharp ends) ? Answers was given to us long ago by Stalingrad snipers and Finnish best sniper. I think the complicated but right way is to use bipods because of their advantages and 100 persent constant point of stock support. Disadvantages should be overcomed by our feeling of rifle, our thougts, meditation and training
I mention this and show this on a video because I saw this question but did not have time to reply. Video Here: ua-cam.com/video/hq5JoWULRvY/v-deo.html
Tough question besides the video I have not shot either in the CZ. I have been shooting SK Pistol Match Special and now Center X. Center X is extremely consistent and accurate.

thanks for sharing. I think ultimately but I believe you may have summed it all up with "I'm after every bit of consistency I can squeeze."
Well done.
Lapua and ELEY are both made by the same manufacturer on the exact same machines. They are only packaged differently.

Let us know how your 16 1/2 AT One does. I am curious between the shorter or longer barrel results in accuracy.

I have the exact same rig the only difference is I have a t-36 weaver on top and it is tac driver
Nice John, what ammo does it like best?

How accuracy would improve if Caldwell Rock BR or sand bag would be used instead of a shaky Harris bipod ?
I'll know next Sunday or Monday, I plan on testing both, just not sure what ammo to test.pricey or budget.
@@AimSmallMissSmall_TV If we think of ultimate possible accuracy of the certain rifle - then, I think, we should try pricey ammo for the first place

What is the diameter of your targets ?
.985" or just call it an inch.
@@AimSmallMissSmall_TV Thank you
good shooting i have a 2003 ans.. i use a sinclaire front rest this works real good . it improved my score
I sure wish the CZ was more accurate. It has so much going for it, but accuracy is not exceptional.
