Nice video. This should help people a lot. I started a map last week using this method again. Only differences are that I used gridmap and I mark the roads out with terrain paint before laying the meshroads. Not saying that is a better way but it works for me well.
Yea new updates must've changed the world editor I guess, there's a million different things in the scene tree unlike yours and it crashes anytime I delete something.

Someone should make a map for "Mods" so people can just download that than start working with the world editor. Make like a Flat 256x256 ready for editing

Click Terrain Editing Button, then you see the import Terrain Button to the left.
