      Technically it doesn't have a sensor. Future Okabe just programs it to have a different number. Everything after 1. or 0. is only to let his past self know they are in a new worldline, with the details being as arbitrary as the word Steins;gate.

      Wasn't the sensor just like a metal thing between two magnets representing the divergence fields and the number is just how close or far away the thing is?

    This was really great to watch, be cool to have one, but bit out of my wheelhouse. I am curious of what the cost is for raw materials?

    • @SciDIY
      @SciDIY  6 років тому +9

      It is great feeling when someone enjoyed this video. Materials cost around 80 USD that time.

    • @frostshock13
      @frostshock13 6 років тому +7

      I didn't think it would be overly expensive, but I didn't ask about the time involved because that's the true price, keep u the good work, I will sub up keep seeing cool stuff.

      I found some kits on Etsy for around a 100 usd, so they must not cost a terrible lot.

    To make your own PCB let alone design one is a hella lot of work. My lazy ass would end up using an Arduino instead. Great work!
