Insane how far your photography has come in 2 years. From boring look up shots to really the really inspiring street photography of today. Good reminder that we all start somewhere.
Couldn't agree more!
Mind blowing review. You actually provided what consumers really want, a professional’s hands-on experience on the photography and how the photos looks afterwards which is pretty simple. What you did actually focus on is the consumer. Thank you so much, you actually showcase the camera with very little words. Offer massive value so Mike thank you for over delivering.
Ahh Mike, you're such a good dude. Most humble intro ever.
Thanks man haha appreciate it
I love this moment when you say Photo
Haha thanks
Mike Chudley I just excited to tell you ahah
No problem we love you
While researching the m50 while waiting for it to arrive, I found this video.. went on to Instagram since you mentioned and WOW .. I’m inspired. Beautiful photography and your eye for it 💯
you dont need a great camera do be a photographer. You just need skills thats all...
Yep, I agree 👊🏻
Really great content. London is so beautiful! 😍 and the canon seems to be a nice camera 😁 great review!
Love the thought behind your process!💪🏻 #instagang ❤️
Thanks iggy, I appreciate it
Hey Mike, this was great and made me jealous of all the amazing locations you have to photograph. My cameras are also an EOS RP and M50, so it was also exciting to see what you can do with the mirrorless little brother. I missed what lens you were using though - did you get all that with the 50mm?
Dogs with cameras are how the stars and elite see Paparazzi photographers. Michael Jacksons hit "Leave Me Alone" uses dogs in his video to portray pressmen and Paps. Really liking your videos.
Well, I wasn’t expecting a comment like that haha - thanks for watching dude!
Them first shots were wicked tbf! Nice video man!
thanks Seb! the kit lens is impressive tbf.
i like the portrait kind of photo at 9:44, the architecture in London is beautiful too. Love the video mike, giving me inspiration for what I can do with my own canon m50 :)
Yeah man that was pretty simple! Thanks again for the kind words ✌🏻✌🏻
Thanks for doing this review! I have the canon m50 and absolutely love it!👏🏾 This really is and awesome camera 📸 especially for the price! Great work as well!👍🏾
Thanks for watching, the M50 sure is great to use. Thanks again.
Just purchased this camera as I’m going traveling to Europe this year. Pretty exited to see the pictures I take :)
Have fun with it!
This is amazing Mike! thank you so much for this video! Since I'm getting the M50 pretty soon, this was amazing to see how the pictures will turn out. But thank you for adding the pictures in the video, they came out great! But by any chance can you do a video on what you do for the picture? Like what things you press on the screen to get the shot? And your tips for when to change them?
oh and when you showed the picture on the screen, did you already edit them? and if you did what did you do? Sorry for so many questions, you did an amazing job at these pictures!
@@miaretana1357 hi Mia! Yes these photos were edited! I have some Lightroom tutorials on all this on the channel!
@@MikeChudley Sweet! Thank you so much!
"This guy looks cool." omg that was great!
You make photographing look pretty easy. :) Thanks!
Haha too kind, thanks
Amazing video and photos! I’m also looking into the m50 and that just made me want it more! Great vid!
Thanks for watching!!
@@MikeChudleywhat are some good lens for the canon m50 I’m just starting to get into photography. I figure to just start with the lens it come with but I heard some
People the regular kit Lin’s our not the best
Amazing! Coz I just got my M50 MarkII I was in doubt though in its photos but there you are.. Thanks for doing such its a big help for me and I believe with others as well.
You're very good at it ✌🏼 good for you
OMG, you did take some great pictures, Mike. Stay well. 😃😃
Thank you!
fabulous! you covered a familiar area, but your shots are so much better than mine! also, i'm jealous of anyone who can crouch down (without falling over) & get up elegantly!! (don't get old!!) 🙂
I need this settings, nice work
the pictures are amazing
Sick video Mike
Love these videos!! How do you determine your F. Stop when shooting ? I can’t get out of the habit of staying low f.stop 😬 !!
Loved this video!
Thanks for watching!!
yesssss, love it 👏🏽👏🏽
Thanks for watching Brad
Hey Brad I'm watching your content since last month, it's awesome 🔥🔥
@@kanpuriyasharad2224 Thank you!!!!
woww this really made me wanna get the M50 hahaha
amazing job!
Ohhh that strapless street walking makes me all kinds of anxious. But great work my friend!!
I enjoyed this video. You had some really cool photos. I'm curious though, you had the gherkin reflecting on another building yet you didn't shoot it. What's up with that?
Jeez I miss London it was one of the coolest places I ever visited. Pretty hard to find ice tho lol, even the hotel told me to hit the bar down the block but the Mout ale and the Greenwich observatory were amazing
Loved it :)
Amazing photos! I would like to make photos like this with my Canon M50. What picture profile did you use?
I like that format of videos 👍🏻
My hands were very, very cold haha
Was the battery a problem? or its duration was good?
Great photos
Great vid - really useful. Looks a great camera for street work. I'm a bit surprised you turned it portrait mode for some of the shots, like the guy walking across on the other side of the street and the girl sitting on the steps. But hey...!
If they were straight out of the camera shots, they're super good. Is it me or does it seem to have a certain style or stylistic of its own...? It reminds me a little of an old school Leica film camera maybe...? 🤔🤔
Very nice video! Just got this camera yesterday.
Do you change settings in the camera such as contrast, saturation, sharpness before taking pics like this also?
I know this comment is a bit old but I'm pretty sure he doesn't. Most photographers adjust these things in post.
#instagang 🤘 yooo the photo at 15:07 is so goodd🤙keep kickin ass mate.
Thanks man!! Appreciate that ✌🏻
To every person who want to start in serious photography.. date the body, and marry the lense! A body is merely the tool to more easily take the photo, but the lense is what's giving you to result you want.. sure a expensive body with a giant sensor gives you more leniency towards lo light, and crop situations.. but the m50 does the job perfectly! I often shoot with the m50 in low light, with an standard iso of 1250 ..and I hardly have to do any noise reduction... the m50 combined with the Samyang 85mm 1.4 is godly!
Very cool ....!
What lens did you use ,and what would you advise me,My camera is Canon M50
Nice video man ! quick question M50 or 250D ( his little brother btw ) and why ? I can"t decide myself for my purchase, thanks bro ! keep up the good work
Please which is better for photograhy nikon d5600 or canon m50 or canon sl3
great enjoyed that
Thanks!
Man like Mike, m50 my dream camera btw.
Nice! Hope you get it one day ✌🏻
these are mega! especially for an entry level mirrorless camera
thank you!!
Love this! I used to have an M50 it was a good camera but it was murdered by a wave when I was taking photos on a beach
Nooo way haha, what camera is next for you?
@@MikeChudley Right now I'm shooting with an EOS RP, I was going for an R6, but at the time the r6 wasn't available in the states and I didn't want to wait so yeah haha
I was contemplating getting the M100 last year then the G7X Mark II caught my eye but I made my mind up and I'm getting an M50 bundle pack because 😍😍😍 and I love the reviews.
I hope you got the Adorama bundle- I just got the kit set with a bonus 50-200mm lens, bag, 2 sets of filters, cleaning kit, upgraded strap and decent albeit small SD card plus 2 year warranty for $1000 & change. I returned my Amazon $850 janky bundle just for that.
As first time street photographer this video made me click buy (M50). It's here, planing locations and looking to see how well I do with it.😊
Glad it was helpful! - I have a full street photography guide available on my website that could help.
amazinggg
What focus mode were you using for this
There's no way to choose a favorite photos. I just got immersed
thank you so much!
The photos came out sick!! I'm considering going from the t6 to m50 but also just want to upgrade my 18-55mm kit lens
Thanks man! The m50 really was pretty impressive tbf haha
I am also switching from t6 to m50 2, Did you ever switch?
@@poojaojha5365 I bought the m50 kinda impulse buy not knowing much, read online about how it was more for videos an i switched up an returned it a few days later for the t6 the big box with 2 lenses. Brought that home an started with it and something about it just felt so off. The m50 just felt cool an even tho in my mind I thought the t6 was better for photos, it wasn’t happening so a couple days later I went back to the store fully convinced & little more educated & anxious..again..to rip into the m50. Now a month later I run it with canon 50m mostly but got a 200$ 2x macro off Amazon that I been messing with. All in all the m50 is so much better in all aspects. I love it so much
This is jot the Mark II version right? This is the normal version of M50?
I need to do some videos close range for a web project is this camera a good go ? Some help please sir !
this is the kind of video you're not skipping
Haha love that - thank you
how many batteries (charge) did you use in this video? love your content btw
Hello. Thank you for video, very helpful for me. :)
Glad it was helpful!
In the video some shots look very dark on the display? Was it not in live mode or did you just do a lot of post processing on the shadows? Just asking, nice video btw!
Yeah I edit the shadows after! I always expose for the highlights so nothing is over exposed
what app did you use to edit your photos?
thanks
Hi! What do you think about canon sl3?
Amazing shots! I own the m50 and it is a nifty little camera. A lot of my architecture photos pre-September 2020 were taken on the m50 on my IG. My photos aren't as good as yours you are a pro!
Thanks man! The m50 really is decent tbf - thanks for the kind words
What’s your Instagram?
Hey. I am an Architect too. I mostly shoot on my iphone. Looking to buy decent camera. Would you recommend M50 ? Drop your ig too. mine is umair_bhura
@@ar.umairbhura1553 thanks! Not sure if you were asking Mike or myself but mine is @Villagemayor. I take better architecture shots than food lol.
The m50 is a great camera to start off. It has an easy menu interface and you can set the menu in the future based on need. I would get the ef-M 22mm for wider shots but the kit lens does pretty well. The only part where it struggles is night photography as the photos can be a bit noisy. If you can get the Mark I it will be cheaper. The Mark II has the same features generally speaking.
@@village_mayor Was asking you. Thanks.
this guy amazing
thank you so much!
Cool video. Have you processed the photo in the editor or are they unprocessed photos?
These are edited photos!
what is your most used focal distance on the M50 series?
More m50 videos 🤤
How did you get the thirds on the canon m50?
Very Nice shoots
Thanks a lot 😊
Do you use Highlight Tone Priority?
What presets did you use? Or did you use a filter for these photos? Or did you edit them afterwards?
I use my own presets as a base layer then I edit them how I like too - my presets are available on my website
0:28 Technique of a photographer to flirt hahaha, excellent video greetings from Mexico :)
Was your gopro on a chest mount?
What mode did you shoot in?
I'm very new to photography, the lens he is using is it the one that comes with the camera when bought new in box?
Yep! If you buy the m50 with the kit lens. This is the lens you get! If you only buy the body then obviously there won’t be a lens with that.
good day I have canon m50 but the problem is making my pic stable and I don't know the good settings for taking pic can you Gide me please
Yo what kind of backpack does your buddy have?? In the market for one and his looks pretty decent!
The one at 15 09 looks so good, I think I like it better because the taxi is in it, to be honest. I'm a bit jealous about how receptive people are to you taking their photos. Here they aren't so happy when strangers as them for a photo 😅
Thanks for the kind words. Everyone is different all we can be is nice and see how people react.
Hi, what video camera you using? may I know?
love it! just tried my m50 out for street photography for the first time the other day and I was pleased with the results! I had to throw my 50 1.4 on there tho :) The kit lens didn't do it for me haha
Yeaaa 50mm is a dream haha
Would you reccomened this camera for pictures like sunsets?
@@arjun_makhecha yeah definitely
So all the photos in this video were shot with the kit lense?
WOW😀
#instagang I'm late but I clicked as fast as I can when i saw the vid hahaha
Your lateness is forgiven 😂
Nice video 👍, it inspires you and motivates you! What about tbe audio? Is it from the gopro with external mic or what? Thanks 👍
Thank you! The Audio is straight from the GoPro yeah
@@MikeChudley with no external mic? Wow! Very nice 👌!
@@GiorgosSpyridakos no external mic! thanks
@@MikeChudley Thank you! I have the 6 Black and I have the impression the audio is not so good, but I'll give it a try to test it. Have a good night
What lens do you have in video? Btw nice video :)
The kit lens 15-45
This is all stock the camera body and lens?
I bought m50 mark ii today. It's super simple professional device. ❤ it.
Memnun musunuz kameradan? Ben de almayı düşünüyorum da
@@samurayc Direkt takılabilir lens seçenekleri kısıtlı. Ama orta kalite bir makine. Kit Lens ile düşük ışıkta sağlam fotoğraflar bekleme. 50mm alırsan düşük ışıkta işini görür.

#instagang. Good to see what the m50 can do. I was looking at that at one point but went for something else. With that I’ll dm you about about a potential idea.
I was impressed with the m50 more than I thought I would be
How do you make the photos look like that? Is there a filter you apply to them?
Yeah these are edited on Lightroom! Using my presets.
very nice
Thanks Carson!
What is the tan backpack called that your friend had? Great video btw!
The brand Douchebags😁
@@vera.b1456 ahahahahahahaha
what's battery life for photography ?
What picture style did you use?
I have a question. When you are showing the results of the photo you took, did you already edit them?
it's definitely been edited
Yeah, that's annoying
Hi I have this camera and just a question for beginners is it better to shoot CRAW or RAW? Cus I heard CRAW has the same benefits of RAW with smaller file sizes, is this true? Thank you!
That’s very true! I prefer to have all my files on raw to ensure the best possible quality. But if you want to save space then CRAW will be fine.
@@MikeChudley Great, thanks for the reply!
idol hope i can di editing like you
are those photos are raw or edited already? are u using the m50 mark II?
These are edited photos with my presets. I am using the normal m50 in this video
Здравствуйте, может быть вы знаете в чем дело?: при ярком солнце дисплей фотоаппарата canon m50 начинает моргать, чуть уходишь в тень - экран горит, всё отлично работает…
Can please give us the settings that u use on this camera!
Definitely, some of my more recent pov videos have settings on them!
