Facts. Nothing ever came close to AC2 Brotherhood or Revelations. Revelations was great but AC2 and Brotherhood were such memorable experiences because of the returning characters between the two games and the height of Ezio’s journey. Unity tried earnestly but failed quite miserably. No other game for me comes close to what AC2 and brotherhood achieved in terms of the powerful music, impeccable storyline and protagonist, and the general atmosphere of the games.
The ambience of AC2 and Brotherhood are absolutely amazing, it makes me really sad we probably won’t get another experience as close to this as Assassins Creed gave us a long time ago, anyone still worshipping these games with me for the memories they gave us?! (no pun intended)
This is triggers a certain emotion that tends to make me feel emotional and I'm not in any way shape or form a emotional person but something about this talks with your soul. Struggling to explain.

Assassin's Creed is one of few game franchises I wish I could play with no prior knowledge of them, just so I can experience the magic they gave to me the first time.
I was going to pick my cousin up from school with my dad and I decided to play this as I was waiting at the bus station the beginning filled me up with a bit of hate and regret and then as I started to hear the Echoes of the beautiful Angelic voice I remembered the good times I had in this summer of 2021 playing Assassin's creed and even listening to some tracks while I was running to the gym and the sun was blazing hot at me and I was having a good time with my friends and occasionally all by myself and I had memories of the old boxing gym I always used to run to everytime back in summer and I got kicked out this month because the coach was a greedy cash grabbing piece of shit but that doesn't matter the thing is when I remembered how i've lived my life back in summer and got reminded of how i'm still in my prime years (15 years old) and how I have an entire life around me and yet I felt like i've lost everything in life , how i lost my purpose and I became a defeated man it just hit me in the feels and I started crying but my dad was in front of me and I didn't want to continue crying but I couldn't stop it and eventually my dad asked me why I was sobbing and I just said "sometimes I release my energy out of nowhere" and he just asked me "you do that?!" and I was like "yeah" and then after 2 or 4 days I believe I put this track again and I started to cry even harder than before I am doing a lot better now because I got it all figured out now and I am currently at a fitness gym building myself up for summer
My favorite type of missions in the Assassin's Creed series were the secret locations in the Ezio trilogy. They are the ones where you do puzzles and platforming until you find treasures and armor. It's a shame they never added them to later games. I am currently playing Ghost of Tsushima and it has something kinda similar to those, but they are way shorter and simpler. They're the shrines missions.
Well, in black flag there were a few comparable missions, but i get what you mean. The setting of doing platforming inside the recreation of an ancient city that existed for generations after generations is something that has not happened ever since the ezio trilogy indeed.
