  • These are the recordings of a 3-Day intensive workshop to create original creature designs.
    DAY 2: After a free exploration of shapes and silhouettes, the next stage is to ground the design. This process is where we make more conscious decisions to make the design balanced and appealing. In ZBrush will take the prototype sketch and quickly clean the topology to add further high-frequency details.
    The next step in the process of refining the 3D Sketch is to focus on transition and refining the volumes of the sculpt to maintain a clean and polished surface. As you refine the volumes and transition of the primary shapes, it is important to keep an eye on the balance of the design.
