- Here is a quick tip for working with ZBrush for iPad and reference images using VizRef as a companion app. Definitely a very nice combo! #zbrushforipad #ZBrush #productivity #reference
Actually there IS a way to bring in reference images. Go to Palettes/Floor Grid. There you can add an imported texture to any of the three reference planes, Front-Back, Right-Left, or Up-Down. There’s settings for image scale, position, and Fill Mode. Fill Mode 3 lets you see thru your sculpt.
👍👍👍
I tried this but the import button only shows textures, I was expecting to see an import from photos app as an example. How do I get my images into the texture pallet.
@@flexmcpee iirc same as desktop Zbrush. First import image as a texture. Then activate the floor and select as Map 1 etc and choose the imported texture. Cheers
@@flexmcpee first you import your image as a texture from top/left corner
anyone know how to map the pencil double tap to the alt button and the squeeze to the shift button - only see key press option but doesn’t work
thanks
Wondering if you could explain any noticeable differences when using the iPad to sketch on for 3d models vs. your actual large screen tablet. Do you find working on one vs. the other is easier? faster, etc... Thanks for all the iPad content!
Does nearly the same as the Split View option...the only difference is, that you'll have to select the picture you want to see instead of having them all lying on a canvas.
Thanks!
I thought I was going mad not being able to add refs the usual way. Hopefully this will come in an update. Thanks for sharing
