I know this is kind of old at this point but I just got a raptor 700. After following the whole diagnosis and engine build series I feel much more comfortable about getting through any maintenance or problems I might run into. I have rebuilt one 2 stroke motor but I feel way better about working on my raptor motor now. Would highly recommend this series to any raptor owner and I'll always keep this in mind for the future. Thanks for all the time an effort Mike!
Thank you for following this series and for the great feedback man! Old series yes, but it still stands true for sure; the current owner of this Raptor still rips it and its running strong! Thanks again for watching and I'm glad my videos could help you with your maintenance!
Another good thing is the clymer 700r manual.. I own one for every car and bike I own and I'm ase certified master tech.. just handy have all the values on hand..
I'm currently rebuilding a 2008 Yamaha Raptor 350. I lack a carb, air box and throttle cable and it will be finished. Can't wait to rip it. Great videos Mike.
Nothing better than riding with good people on trails you ride on. Keep the helmet on at all times. Stuff happens when least expected.writing with experience. Stay safe and keep the video’s coming………
Watched all your raptor 700 rebuild vids and they are brilliant 👍🏻👍🏻 thanks for taking the time to do them, I want to get another raptor and I’m sure these vids will help me one day 👍🏻
You should drop the air pressure on your rear tires to make it so the whole tire is on the ground and it’ll give you more traction through mud and stuff
@@MichaelSabo i know i seen the video , but i mean like. Would they last longer then the stock aluminum are they stronger , or is the stock aluminum the better choice ,?
@@moto_tech_braap_itout9852 I actually don't know if there are any advantages to the SS rim. I'm pretty sure they're heavier and basically built for looks. You never see them on the race track to the best of my knowledge. I'm not sure I'd ever buy them myself.
I almost shit myself trying my pops Raptor 660 on a dare but once I got it in 3rd gear it was heavily torquey and smooth. Definitely not a bike for beginners.
Hey Michael I'm wondering if you have an idea on what the problem could be on my 2006 raptor 700. I am having a priming issue. I have spark and compression in the bike and just changed the tps sensor. I add some fuel where the spark plug is and I was able to rev it a couple times before dying.
Why u saying i hope i’ll not blow up this thing i gave a 2016 raptor 700 my self and i really blast that think and gives me like not issues at all im so happy with it 700 are tank machines dk why you are saying that
It's a joke because I built a banshee and it blew after 10 hours. People were also claiming my motor wont hold up because I chose to use a Hot Rods crank in it.
Dude what weight and height are you? I'm 6'3 and 220 pounds Getting a raptor in a few months so wanna know if I need to upgrade the suspension, I'll be doing trails like that and on road they are road legal over here
Yamaha Raptor 700r #1. Best sport ATV ever made.

You won't have any probs they bulletproof beasts! Just real good basic maintenance.

I’m 40, I’ve rode Yamaha my entire life. The 700 is a nice beast, the only thing I’m waiting on now it for them to stuff a 1000 in a sports quad.
Yamaha is indeed #1 for sure.
Can’t wait till I can fix my raptor you got me motivated to start working on it more
Get her fixed. New ones are $11k.
You know He’s a good Friend when he waits for his buddy’s

Thank you for watching them man!
Banshee chassis sucks for anything other than the dunes. Still a great fun machine!
They handle and turn like trash no matter how much $ you sink into the suspension
Should do a ltz 400 build
That raptor looks good
The only reason I’m not on mine is it’s raining here in Florida however, I’ll be on the trails tomorrow
Keep the good vids coming man. Some good stuff here too!
Thank you man!
Awesome Mike《☆》You have made a New Raptor fan here ☻
Thank you BDog!!!
That guy on the bike fast af 🤣

Thank you Bawny!
I want to see you do a ATC 250R, you are as thorough asf bro, great vids
Thank you so much man. I've never had or ridden an ATC but that would be fun to do one day.
I have the same tires on my blaster and got stuck riding today in the mud😂😂
i desprately need one of these in my life time!!!! im so jelous i cant aford one
Man it sucks that you Will sell it😖😖😖
I might keep this as my reliable quad to have when other things are broken lol. It runs so well
Michael Sabo yes! I told you in the start to keep it, so now i am happy
You have great vids and i enjoy a riding video like this. You are one of the best channels out there. Do you have any new projects coming soon?
Wow man, thank you for saying that, it made me feel really good. Yes, the next project is putting a 4 mil kit on my Banshee!
@@MichaelSabo thats sweet. I will be looking forward to that. Then you have to race the raptor and banshee. Do you plan on keeping both?
Do a Yamaha blaster build
Great job on that quad bro!
Congrats on 8k!
Thank you dude! You've been supporting me for the long haul!
Gone back to motorbike sold my 660 parts was a pan expensive
Is this spot in PA ? Like 2 hours from the Poconos ?
What's your opinion on the ss rims. Vs stock aluminum? Debating if i want to get them for my trx250ex or stay with stock
All for looks in my opinion. These SS rims came with the quad.

U tryna trade for a sketchy Yamaha warrior
😂😂 hell yea man

If u want to message me on Instagram lol

What state do you live in? Looks like PA and if it is where at these trails
Yes, PA. I ride the coal mines in Hazleton usually.
Pa rocks!
@@MichaelSabo u been to concrete city in Nanticoke, n little Hawaii
I know you want to, so you should get a blaster. A Yamaha blaster.
My 2wd race quad has balloon tires in the rear which gives tones of control
Wow it looks where I live in Maine
Will it keep up with the banshee?
In a straight line im pretty sure the banshee wins but in the trail its gonna be slower
I agree, open trails and straight line, the Banshee will win, but in the trails, the Raptor will win with the same skilled riders in my opinion.

Sounds like maybe the fuel pump or fuel pump relay
Where is the coal mine ridden in pa? I'm I ny

Ryan Kelly you’ll be fine I’m 6’2 270 and I’m perfectly fine with the stock suspension just adjust it to ur needs
How do you get a Michael Sabo sticker?
Shoot me an email michaelsabo350@gmail.com
How did you break yours in?
The raptor sounds good you did a great job on it. Ithe raptor might be easier to ride but I bet that banshee is funnier
Waiting on a stator
I love my 2010 raptor 700r
How do i tune my raptor 350 carb
What year is the raptor
I have a 700 and I’m 16 and I’m so scared of it
Raptor 700 are cool 660 are not :( uk
660s power is violent where a 700 is more mellow
