And yet another incredible trip and video creation. I'm such a fan. Cool to know you're only 2 states away. Hope to meet you guys on the trails sometime. You're content and style has made my wife a fan as well.
Damascus is an awesome town! Look into riding(bicycle) the Virginia creeper trail! Pretty epic stuff! Also wild ponies up in the higher elevations! I fell in love with that area in 98 when I hiked the Appalachian Trail.. Some of the best scenery in the east!
@@OverlandPioneers if you ever come again bald mountain to potts mountain to children’s forest to sweet road to Castle road then to peters mountain ending at humpback bridge last covered bridge in Virginia I believe. It’s a long drive but you will see a lot of beautiful trails open all year long
Solo Saga he did it a few times in the longer National Forest sections. Tuckered him out for the day. Helps we were there in the reallllly non busy season.
Awesome appreciate it possibly going to do parts around April / may so just judging road conditions around that time off some videos. Great content. Cheers
@@kwacker44 absolutely! A round those times all trails “should” be open. In all the states up to Mississippi heading west I’ve come across probably 6 closed seasonal gates. And we’re able to go and redo them when back in the area. They were also short bipassable sections
You don't need to go to Virginia for that, I had coon hunters come on to my farm and my guard dog was okay with the raccoon but not with the hunters dogs being near our flock 😞

Great video! Thanks for sharing. Great to see a wonderful trip regular folks can do, without the need for a tricked out rig.
Cool! Driving past my house! I love this area of Virginia!! So beautiful.
Love it! Great videography and commentary 👊🏼💥

The TAT website
What time of year were you there? The research I've been doing lately has most OHV trails open from April to January.
We were there in winter. Came across only 2 small stretches of closed forestry trails

Last January
Great video! What large screen GPS are you using?
Back then, I think it was an iPad with Gaia GPS
Would a stock jeep grand Cherokee be capable to do this?
Absolutely. Just take your time in the one or 2 harder sections
I love your videos! Great job! Only one problem.. I wasn't invited! 😆
How many days did this section take?
About 3 days enjoying your time.
2:57 I've not seen thay done before, but that's a great idea as long as the all parties are actively aware, including the animal companion.

Would a stock 2019~ F150 be ok on this leg?

Going up Jenkins mountain into my hometown of Pound. Awesome video
I watched your NC vid and wondered about trailer use. I was glad to see them in use. Racoon hunters! Who da thunk?
Looks like a great trip! Did you find any Lobster rolls? :-)
Sandy Swantee thanks for bringing them up. Now I want one....
🤙
😮 Raccoon hunters at 2 am … makes me curious about how many people have been murdered doing the TAT. The rest looked amazing. TY for sharing! ❤
That escalated quickly lol
