Time to bring back the a6700 again for A/B cam with this to keep it all unified 😂. With the 11mm sony f1.8 and or sigma 16mm f1.4 to blow that background out and then the versatility of your new 10-18mm 🔥. Hmmmmm decisions decisions. I honestly didnt stick to fx30 myself solely because i wanted an EVF for the 1% of times i use it and in comparison to the a6700 since its basically the same thing all around performance wise but 6700 having the ai chip and evf vs not but having the fan as the only real bonus along with better screen the 6700 still wins for me. Of course you can always throw the ulanzi fan on when needed but its not even needed with 4k24 anyway. Will be cool to see your thoughts and outcomes in the end. Every time i thought i was done it was another damn order and test and man was it an annoying process. I literally took almost the same path here got all these cameras youve been showing a6700 fx30 a7iv a7cii and even got the canon r8 and r6ii to test lol so im super familiar with all these which is fun to see someone else going through them also
😂😂😂 I’m so glad to hear I’m not the only one caught in the camera madness. Just like me, you and I have to see for ourselves what works best. Thanks for watching!
@@Xero.Limitz Right, its crazy lol. Bennefits of the smaller body on a6700 yet still has an EVF, ai chip plus decent grip depth (vs the a7cii at least) feels more like the large body cameras and is good enough to fit the bill for the most anything without costing an arm and leg. As an alternative to the primes i mentioned in my last comment you could literally have a "full kit" by adding the sigma 18-50 2.8 on top of your 10-18 as well they are such a great value, size and performance. I only mentioned the primes because of the depth of field these sigmas are effectively to the eye F4 on the crop sensor cameras which are really good for your house videos, cars and such but straight vlogging you cant beat the actual sony 11mm and with 1st party lens you also get much better stabalization when using active with it for handheld work (for whatever reason its a lot better than the sigmas). Legit nothing wrong with the f2.8 zooms they are better than good still. Regardless its such an adventure isnt it lol i returned and reordered the same camera like 3 times before also because i couldnt decide LOL.
yeah oss would def help, but as long as you focus on keeping your hand steady it's not so bad. Especially at the widest angle. Luckily the fx30 has good in body stabilization
Yeah I did. Have active stab on. It might’ve been my hand just being shaky. I have another video coming up with some more footage using this camera. I’m going to pay more attention and see if there more micro jitters
@@Xero.Limitz I was going to say curved lines around the edges of the image, lens distortion. Barrel distortion. The door jamb, the edge of the wall, the columns are not straight, but curved. Not active stabilization.

Also after using this I did start thinking of the a6700 again…we’ll see

This lens is nice, but not having OSS is a killer for me especially if you VLOG

Very strong distortion in the video. Especially at 10mm. Did you turn on distortion correction in the camera on these videos?
Yeah I did. Have active stab on. It might’ve been my hand just being shaky. I have another video coming up with some more footage using this camera. I’m going to pay more attention and see if there more micro jitters
