I'm really looking forward to the performance of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra that will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and will be the 1st smartphone to exceed the 1' inch main camera size.
Xiaomi has been making real big moves compared to competitors yet people still don't like it, not because of the software issues and bugs(which are already fixed last hyperOS) but just because it's a Chinese company..... So they would rather go Samsung or apple. I will always be loyal to Xiaomi even if china will try to invade the Philippines. I will not be biased against it.

Did you take this with a non-rooted or rooted 14 ultra? Is it a 10-bit full sensor or something else? I'd appreciate it if you could share the recording settings so I know whether rooting is necessary or if I can capture an image like this with your app without rooting my phone (xiaomi 14 ultra)
In 5 or 10 years we know phone cam will be even better so better results with motioncam, the quality will keep getting better with the app since cams in phone will keep upgrading
Just Bought the Pro Version for my Xiaomi 14 Ultra as the Demo version worked great. However now with the Pro version I can't seem to get barely any image visible in any recording mode (RAW or DirectLog..)? I see it in the viewfinder and whilst recording, but the recorded video shows barely anything?... The Demo version didn't do that and it just worked... ---What am I doing wrong?

You can see that the aperture on the Xiaomi 14 ultra is closed, so it turns out that the noise test is not really objective? What was the ISO on the Xiaomi camera?
Well, it's a mixed bag because the aperture is locked by default at a value of 2.0 for third-party apps. Hopefully, in time, Xiaomi will create some options to allow us to control it via MotionCam or any other third-party app. Thanks!
it is really impressive what we can do with phones nowadays, but there is still a small thing that happens that I don't get it 100%: why do borders look weird on phones? They look like games without anti aliasing, while Canon seems more natural... Is it because of pixel binning?
I'm impressed with the results, you should be paid by Xiaomi for this! I have motion cam pro and I know the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has variable aperture on one of the lenses, will I be able to change it on the app to adjust for light? It would be an awesome feature to have!
Colors are good, but tiny sensor of Xiaomi can't capture details even in enough light conditions. Just check the roof at the left bottom corner at 3:44

Does it encounter any dropped frames? If so at what settings or frame rates?
Xiaomi 14 Ultra performs very well on raw capture, like many other cheaper options. More info can be found on Discord
Love this app! It brings the raw video capturing capability to any Android phone even the cheap ones.
As long as the phone can deliver it, sure :P
😱I need to try this with my Xiaomi 14 Ultra!!!
This is one insane comparison. Hardly can tell the difference !
Of course 1 inch sensor is noisier, but with lower iso, it's not so noticeable....great
Very impressive!
I wonder how the difference would end up with noise reduction.
We wanted to show the pure results, with a bit of noise reduction all those differences are gone!
Wooow. It's crazy

like on 2:10, the trees, they don't look as good on the Xiaomi than on Canon. Colors are still impressive anyway.
Because these sensors are Quad Bayer type, and they create those artifacts
