That video was great. I just replaced my busted power steering hose for $35 . This video made it a dam near effortless. Thank you for a lot for posting that brother. Good work.
It always looks sooo EZ on UA-cam. If the hose is original there is little chance of it coming off with a flare wrench! Even with the flair wrench you will round off those fittings and make the leak worse. Buy both the high & low pressure hoses. Cut both lines near the fittings at the steering box. Use a deep socket to get on the fittings to remove the fitting/line. Low pressure first to gain access to the high pressure. 1/2 hour job.
Nice job, except you failed to show the hardest part of this job. Removing the air box and finding the nuts underneath after you do. Replacing the hose is a breeze.
True, although I should mention my air box has had 3 of the screw mounts broken since I got the jeep (years) so I only had to deal with one of the screws. But the rattling noise it makes by not being bolted down is another issue entirely.
For the love of GOD, PLEASE don't play the soft porn/dancing music to distract from memory processing! That is the most irritating music...and I love music! Everything else is awesome!

Thanks for this video. I’m about to do this on my 98 Grand Cherokee and everything under the hood looks the same so it should be pretty simple.

No one plays music for me when I work on my car...
Thank you!
Which hose is right above it on the power steering pump? Mine is leaking at that one as well.
is this essentially the same as it would be for a 2010? Much of it looked similar to what I see under the hood.
Why did you remove the low pressure hose?
